Hello there!

(This isn't my first time on Tumblr, so I know my way around)

I am Mira, an amateur artist, aspiring writer, video game fan, and Christian!

I'm hoping to post about things I enjoy and especially my writing! I will let you know I don't enjoy explicit things, so please don't send me things like that.

I don't interact with reblog bait, especially those based on morals. I do notes games if Ink asks, and tag games if I'm tagged tho.

I think it’s odd how many canonically religious characters are head canoned with religious trauma. I understand people like to project onto their favorites, but sometimes I can’t help but think, “can someone please let this character be held by their faith instead of harmed by it for once?”

i like to leave every room a little cleaner than I entered it, and it annoys me that some people take offense to this. I'm not saying you're dirty, it's just a habit of mine. A simple thank you could be in order. None of this "stop thief" and "you can't just steal" nonsense.

this disability pride month, consider watching Quest For Camelot, a movie about a girl trying to follow in her father's footsteps as a knight of the round table. The disabled main character, Garrett, is a blind hermit who lives in a magical forest. He sings a great song, and teaches her how to fight with intuition and how he himself survived in the forest by memorizing how things strike. He was a huge fictional crush for me as a kid.

(there's also conjoined twin dragons that realize even if they struggle, they do really live each other and being together)

TODAY'S QUESTION:

Let us now speak of one of my favorite things! Archetypes! First let's do Chess Pieces my loves. Which piece on the board are some of your characters?

Kinda unique here, putting my characters into Life Series teams!

Marro- I like to imagine him in the Fairy Fort. I think he'd like Lizzie, and after he turns red he would probably be tamer than most of them.

Esmerelda- Bad Boys all the way. She'd laugh at everyone every time they died and snipe them from above no matter if anyone thought it was unfair.

Kaleb- Bamboozlers! He likes fun in a dangerous time, and he would be so devastated when the bambunker went boom.

Jara- Wolf Joel! He's not technically a team because it was just him, but I think she would enjoy teaming with him in Third Life and sharing the house and wolf packs.

Olim- Rejects. Hear me out, he would love protecting Jimmy so he could get as far as he possibly could. Jimmy might even make it farther with him, especially if he sacrificed himself.

Bonus: Speaker, my DND character, would join Dogwarts. A sense of duty and structure really fits her character.

First of all bravo for that last guy quoting Stormlight, but also my camp pastor was preaching on this exact topic recently.

The church is full of hypocrites exactly because it's full of unfinished people. The church isn't God's showroom, it's his workshop, and if you want to have any work done at all you have to go. People there are works in progress that will become beautiful in heaven, and he sees that in us now.

Also, you can't just not go to church, maybe you choose a different style but check out Hebrews 10:24-25 sometime, it specifically urges the church to continue to meet. It's an inherent part of our faith!
