And the fact we could have had good! Chloe. She could have had a character arch that gave her normal lips, and adjust her personality. But then who would akumatise everyone?
Also remember when the breakdancing au was super popular and when Chlonath was a really big ship.
Tbh I never left the season 2 miraculous fandom when chloe was kinda good and she was heavily shipped with nate.
The time when I kinda hated luka and kagami for getting in the way.
And when marichat reigned supreme and he called her 'Princess', wherever that came from.
I kinda want a messy breakup due to adrien finding out the truth, then ending up with a mari chat story line just because it would make my 13 year old heart sing.
Also the fan content (fics, comics, art, and au’s) were unmatched. 90% of the fandom was pure soap opera fannon and it was amazing.
It was something akin to the marauders fandom in the fact that all the good content was fanmade. All the comics that got published and dubbed, all the animatics, I still watch them too for nostalgia, and the audio fics like 'Home' or 'What a catch' by Mira's Miraculous Fanfiction.
Oh, not to mention all the wattpad fics where something fucked up would happen and it wasn't tagged.
They were my first fics, and honestly the most angsty ones I ever read. Especially with adrien being a yandere being fanon 😭.
I still remember the ones where there was countless suicide references and SH, untagged. And the one where SA happened, and where marinette ends up locked in adriens basement so she can't fall for anyone else???
Oh also the AUs where they go to university together and end up sharing a room for some inslexplicable reason. I remember 'The player and the Princess' far too well.
Omg yeah I remember being so invested in What a Catch and other fics on Mira’s Chanel too.
They were so good, that one where adrien was a supermodel/coffee shop barista and he was dating chloe. That one was good!
Also Strawberry Frappuccino and a Black leather jacket.
