Djwifi December day 7: Glasses
am I a week late? ..yeah @miraculous-events
There was no better feeling in the world than Alya’s lips against his, Nino noted. It gave him chills every time he felt her nails gently scrape the back of his neck, every time she tilted her head for a new angle. He nearly let go of the glasses he was holding onto (gotta hold your girlfriend’s glasses as you’re making out as she does the same; it’s simply proper educate) because of the pure bliss of it all.
Every time they found the opportunity, they would take the time in between classes to give each other a quick kiss. Er, sometimes not so quick.
As cheesy as it was to say, this moment was nothing short of magical… that is, until the boisterous school bell rang, jarring them apart. Ugh, uncool. That wasn’t enough time at all.
At least, that was his initial thought until he realized he might be late for class if he didn’t hurry, and being too busy ‘smooching his girlfriend in the hallway’ was not an excuse he wanted to admit.
Alya must have realized the same thing, for she panicked along with him as they quickly put their glasses back on their faces, ran smack into each other, and turned the other way to book it to class.
Nino kept tripping over himself as he made his way to class, figuring his hurry to make it on time and the lingering of his girlfriend’s flavorful chapstick still on his lips was what was distracting him.
He made it to his next class with seconds to spare, huffing a triumphant, “Made it!” as he did so. He found his way to his seat, still blinking away his blurry adrenaline.
Adrien perked up at his best friend. He eyed him curiously as Nino turned to him to say hello. “Did you get new glasses, Nino? These ones frame your face differently than the others did but they still look great!”
Nino stopped in his tracks. “I- what?”
“Ooooooooh!” Kim suddenly sang loudly from the back of the class. “I think I know what happened!”
Rose gasped. “Weren’t Alya’s glasses different too?”
Nino, teeth clenched awkwardly, slowly turned to Alya who sat behind him. Lo and behold, she was wearing his large glasses, as well as a similar expression.
They swapped their glasses back as fast as a bullet, hoping no one would notice (even if they already had). Kim’s teases were relentless before the teacher walked in, and though Nino was finally able to breathe a sigh of relief, his face was rendered beet-red for the rest of the day.
