Dan ever gets nightmares so horrible he can't sleep anymore and has to wake up Phil and while Dan is shaking Phil holds him and tells him that the world isn't such a bad place and that he will always be there for him and care for him and that Dan then falls asleep in Phil's arms because he feels so safe and carefree. The next morning they will make a gaming video and Dan will look at that person that protected him from all the terrors that were hiding in his own brain.
