I decided to try doing some digital paint studies in Photoshop of photos I took on a trip to Japan. Just quick warm ups that turned out to be pretty fun. I'm hoping to do more. They're relaxing & so helpful to my skill building.

In honor of Dragon Con going virtual this year I decided to do some watercolor fantasy cats as has been my yearly tradition for the convention. They are inked and painted traditionally. Prints of my Watercolor Fantasy Cats are available at Mirana.Shop.

I did some #lifedrawing in brush #pen #ink at #ZooAtlanta. The #KoriBustard was a particular ham & seemed to really enjoy being drawn! I have a new favorite #bird. The #amphibians were super patient with posing for me, although Corky had a singular determination to eat all the things.

We sketched some #animals from life at a local Wildlife Center. These are #brushpen #ink. Everybody was very active so it was a challenge!

I'm going to be at the SCAD Mini Comic Expo at Haymans Hall in Savannah GA. Nov 11th, 11AM - 4PM. If you can’t make it, the books are available (while supplies last!!) in my shop!

I will have eight pieces available in the Escapades art show, Sept 7th - Nov 4th at Gutstein Gallery in Savannah, GA. This show features works from many comic artists. The reception is TOMORROW Sept 28th 5-7PM.

Included in the show will be four original inks from my Gates of Midnight covers, as well as four giclee of the story I provided for Dirty Diamonds 7: Imagination. All works are professionally framed and will be available for sale through the gallery.

I had an amazing Dragon*Con and sold almost everything I brought there. These are the remaining mini fantasy cat watercolors that I have left. They are now up in my shop along with the new prints for this year!
