Juliette hummed gently to the music blasting in her ears from her headphones as she walked through the lobby, suitcases rolling behind her. She made her way to the line outside of the elevator and prayed she’d be able to take a nap by the time she was finished moving her stuff into her apartment. I was hoping to hit the beach and by the looks of all this,” she gestured. “I fear that won’t be a possibility.”

Miri had her long hair tied up in a sleek bun as she lugged a garbage bag full of things under one arm and held a suitcase with the other.
