It's not like you guys certainly will not, does not, and will never have a boyfriend the whole time you're fangirling over Baek. It's unfair to him. Relationships require you to be committed to each other. Now as a FAN and an IDOL, the only commitment he has to you is to provide good music, some fan service, maybe, and to be thankful for you guys. I think he's shown you his gratitude multiple of times. When was it a bad thing to be in love?
You know how people in love act foolishly. When you're in love with someone, don't you want to shout it out to the world? Imagine you, after years of being just a fan, finally get your idol to be your boyfriend, wouldn't you feel the same? He might've hid the relationship because he knew fans would react like this, he didn't want to disappoint you. (Don't you see? Even with dealing with his own happiness, he still thinks about us.)
So guys, let's be understanding about this. People make mistakes. Is this the limit to your love for Baek? The only mistake here is our hate for the couple.
Remember, WE ARE JUST FANS. We have no right to who our idols will date. The last thing he needs right now is his own fans turning their backs on him. We all decided to love him and the right way for him to give back that love is to work hard and be thankful for it, not depriving himself of the romantic love he truly deserves. I'm a Baekhyun fan myself and I admit I was hurt but what did I do? I decided to just be happy for them and wish them the best. After all, he's still Baekhyun, and with or without a girlfriend, I'd still love and support him.
Baekhyun, I just hope I have the power to change the mind of the people. I wish I could tell you it's alright to be in love. It's alright to make mistakes. The last thing I want is to see you sad. Don't be discouraged and just keep going because there are fans that actually love you unconditionally. I wish I could comfort you and tell you that everything will be alright. Because in the end, no matter how this turns out, I will always be by your side.
