Hello there! I go by "Miryhis" online. I'm currently going to school for a degree in Biology and another in Political Science/Pre-Law. This is my art blog. I will upload my messy sketches and, sometimes, a finished piece. I will also post some of my writing. Crit is welcome! Please feel free to send me some on my work. I made a corgi (Cardigan Welsh Corgi, of course!). He goes on adventures to find treasure...but he doesn't find a lot of it, so he works as a food inspector to pay his bills

I redesigned Marcello. I got rid of most of his weasel-fox body and gave him more floof. Everyone knows that floof makes everything better. I drew this late last year.

5 Facts Meme

I was tagged by @writerbirdpresents ! I don’t talk about myself a lot, because I’m a very private person…so doing this was interesting, haha! Anyway, here are some little facts about me.

1. I love a good ghost story. I even began collecting books a few years ago. They interest me, because of the mystery and the lore behind each story. I love how various cultures interpret them. I even have a character that can see them…even if he tells everyone that they don’t exist.

2. Lighthouses are another interest of mine that I rarely talk about. When I can, I try to climb them and get a figurine. I want to try to incorporate them into my stories/worlds, but haven’t had much luck.

3. Birds. Grifyns. I like to draw things with feathers.

4. Werewolves. I like to draw them, too. There’s another story I’m working on that involves them. Despite this (coupled with the ghosts), I’m not a horror buff or anything.

5. My handle, Miryhis, is a combination of two of my characters’ names. It’s Mariyah and Marius, and it doesn’t have a solid pronunciation. I say Mih-Rye-his, though people say different things. The same thing happens with my real name, as well.

Day 27: Dashenka. She is a hybrid based off of a simurgh ( except I mixed in horse instead of lion). Dash tends to be aloof, unless she is around her mate, Krylies, or she's out doing some task for the deity she serves. It can take her hours to complete one task, because she would rather do it perfectly than a slapdash job. In some circles she is known as the Silver Peahen.

EDIT: Day 11! Tiktickcrist, a chickadee grifyn/ gryphon! She’s best friends with Kikunra and they go on wacky adventures. Their story revolves around them sending a message to stop a war, or start it. It depends on who you ask. Tik is a ball of energy and enthusiasm. She’s the one that drags Kikunra into trouble, but usually gets them out…usually.
