So, I know "The Force Awakens" came out like two years ago, but after watching "The Last Jedi" and reading the TFA novelization, I have a theory about that force vision Rey has after touching the lightsaber. I don't know if the force has the ability to transport people backwards or forwards in time, but we do know that it can be used to send a projection of yourself into another area of space. So, what if that force vision that Rey has early on in TFA isn't just a vision. What if the force sent a projection of Rey literally back in time and jerked her around to several different spots in time. The reason I think this may be what happened is that in that scene where she sees Kylo Ren and what I'm assuming are the Knights of Ren, Kylo sees and advances towards her. Now that could just be a weird part of the vision, but later in the movie, during the fight scene in the forest on Star Killer Base, Kylo seems to recognize something about her after she uses the force to summon Anakin's lightsaber, that he didn't notice before. He looks at her funny and says "It is you..." Like he's met her before the fight at Maz Kanatta's place. So what if, when Rey had that "vision" she actually had been there, in those places, at those times, or a projection of her had been anyway, and Kylo Ren actually did see her that night, and that's why he recognizes her. I've seen lots of fan theories about how when Kylo says "It is you." That he knew her from Jedi training, but the thing is, before the events of TFA, Rey had never been off of Jakku(I hope I spelled that right...), so I think it's much more likely that the Force sent her back in time briefly, which is where Kylo first meets her, and then he meets her again on the day she is sent back and meets him. Further more, I'm pretty sure that the time she is at when she sees him and the knights, is the night he destroys the Jedi temple, and kills the other padowans. Just my random thoughts, and I could be completely off the mark here. Do you agree? If you have evidence against this theory, let me know, I am mostly just curious, and this thought crossed my mind at like 10:20 tonight (lol who needs sleep anyway)...
