I like making weird sad and moody aesthetic nonsense 💁
The Daughters of Thespius (1853) by Gustave Moreau
Every person who has seen my work compliments how good it is.
"Wow this looks amazing"
"Your portfolio is great"
"You are really talented"
"I can tell you are very gifted"
"I can't believe you made this"
"Whoa you did this?"
Yet, despite the compliments for which I am grateful, I cannot seem to get a job in my field. Its so oversaturated, with so few jobs, that despite my so called skill and talent, I have nothing but a portfolio of excellent work to show. No opportunities. No money. My passion, my love for the work, everything has amounted to a nonexistent career.
omg. I did the thing!
Please eat dinner. Eat it now.
confidence post:
your old boss is not only putting you forward for a job, she believes you can easily do it. your work was soooo subpar (by your own insane standards) when you worked for her 3 years ago, and now its wildly better, and that still isnt 100% from you. If you 3 years ago was capable of this, then you now are definitely able to manage it with grace, skill, and dedication. Get the job. Pay the bills. Eat dinner.
So many "contemporary romances" are NOT ROMANCE. They are TRAGEDY parading around as romantic because the authors do not know what romance is. When I read them, I want a tragedy of man's folly. GIVE ME SUFFERING AND A TRAGIC HAMLET STYLE ENDING OF DEATH TO THE LONG DRIVEN INSANE MALE LEAD AFTER PROLONGED SUFFERING FOR HIS IMMORALITY AND ABUSE. I. WANT. TRAGEDY.

unfortunate circumstance appears to be a key player in my life.
Being sensitive is a strength—it means you feel deeply. But unkindness? That’s a choice, and a sad one.
I'm at a place in my life where I am beginning to embrace my sensitivity as a core part of me. I am still working on balancing my sensitivity and showing it, with being surrounded by unsafe narcissists and how to shoo them away so I can fully be myself.
