Drew my oc's biological mama :D

Exe's biological mother, but she only took care of them for a few months before she orphaned them. She was plagued by nightmares every night, until she made a deal with the Goddess of Dreams: All of her nightmares would come to an end, in exchange for her firstborn's soul. The night Exe was born, the Goddess of dreams appeared in the mother's dream, ready to make the exchange. At first she hesitated, but ultimately decided to go through with it, and her nightmares stopped. But her pain didn't vanish, and she was plagued during the day by guilt. She couldn't even look her child in the eye. After a couple of months, raising and feeding and caring for her baby, she couldn't anymore, and left them on someone's doorstep (or in someone's barn, still trying to work out the exact details.)

Exe has never known their mom, nor do they know that their soul isn't entirely theirs.
