These two are soulmates in the literal sense of the word. They mirror each narratively in a multitude of ways but also have traits that make them strong in areas where their companion is weak.

They've both saved each other countless times. Both through physical means and when they need to find a reason to survive for, they will think of each other to find the will to keep striving forward. They're each other's reason to keep living, even when things get hard. The title they are given in the novel for their dynamic is literally labelled "Life and Death Companions", demonstrating that their bond and commitment to each other supersedes even death itself.

How much more clear it has to be? Of course she's wishing she could be with Madoka, but it's not her PRIORITY. Her entire arc is about PROTECTING Madoka and fighting for her happiness, even at the price of them being enemies.

I am BEGGING all those disappointed OFMD, DBD and Kaos fans. Angry, smashing furniture, ever hungry and thirsting for more... Please, please, please seek out and watch 'In The Flesh.' It's such an underrated gem. I can't begin to describe how phenomenonal this show truly is. It's the kind of show Tumblr should be eating whole. And was giving us representation long before any of the above were even a twinkle in their writers, prefrontal cortex.

It has characters you will instantly fall in love with. I dare anyone to come away from this show not worshipping the undead feet of Amy Dyer. But most importantly it tackles some truly major issues. Using the zombie as a metaphor for 'despised, ostracized and endangered minorities', such as immigrants or the queer community etc. And it does it so fucking well.

Please give it a chance. I promise this is one show you will never regret giving your time and love to.
