Hello!

Your certificates have now arrived. I will be keeping them here until next friday and then posting them out. If you would like to pick them up before then please do. I am in every day between 10-4.

Please note- I will only send out certificates to people that have handed their swipe card and locker key back in. If you have not yet done this, you will need to collect your certficates when you hand your things back in.

My little good bye video I made. i just want to say thank you to everyone, techies, musicians, directors and not forgetting fellow actors! I have loved working and getting to know all of you and it is such a sad time to leave but like a quote I found:

Shuttle Bus Service ends this Friday!

Please note- the last shuttle bus running is this friday- 4th July!!

There will be no more shuttle buses again until September, so you will need to make arrangements to get here next week if you are due in.

Well Done Guys

That was a fantastic show guys, a lovely send-off for a lovely show, I just want to say how proud I am of both the first years and the second years, I hope someone shares this on the second year company site before they leave, because they have taught us so much and asked for so little. Well done everyone, thank you for being a part of it!

Who is Franz Ferdinand?

Franz Ferdinand was an Archduke of Austria-Este, Austro-Hungarian and Royal Prince of Hungary and of Bohemia, and from 1889 until his death, heir presumptive to the Austro-Hungarian throne. He was Born on18th December 1863 and Died 28th June 1914 (aged 50) Sarajevo, Austria-Hungary Ferdinand entered the Austro-Hungarian Army at a young age. He was frequently and rapidly promoted, given the rank of lieutenant at age fourteen, captain at twenty-two, colonel at twenty-seven, and major general at thirty-one. Ferdinand’s assassination in Sarajevo precipitated Austria-Hungary’s declaration of war against Serbia caused the Central Powers and the Allies of World War I to declare war on each other, starting World War I. He was killed with his wife which in the script is mentioned as ‘Big Fat Sophie’. Researching this information has helped me to understand more in depth who Franz Ferdinand was and what he did. Knowing this information and understanding who is has helped me to bring this to the script and give me a motive in my scene Serejevo. Thought and feelings?

I really enjoyed tonight and I feel like we have set the bar for ourselves, we can do much better with picking up our cues and the pace and we can easily knock time off the show. Well done everyone for putting out the show together and lets remember the company and ensemble section of it and make sure we are helping each other out.
