lbn al-Qayyim (may Allaah have mercy on him) said:
"Rushing towards Allaah and depending on Him, being pleased with Him, filling the heart with love of Him, constantly remembering Him, feeling happiness and joy with knowing Him - all of these are instantaneous rewards, a paradise of this world, and a life that the lives of kings cannot even compare to. I heard Shaykh al-Islaam ibn Taymiyyah (may Allaah have mercy on him) say: "Indeed, there is a Paradise in this world. Whoever doesn't enter it will not enter the Paradise of the Hereafter."
[Al-Waabil as-Sayyib]
Assalamu alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuhu sis 🥰

Assalam alaykum, may I know from where is the video with "the soul cries at the dunya though it knows..." ? 🌸🌸🌸
و عليكم السلام ورحمة الله وبركاته ♡ its from a telegram channel but I don't know the name of it any more
Abu al-Layth al-Samarqandi reported: Yahya ibn Mu’adh, may Allah have mercy on him, said, “If you cannot benefit, then do not harm. If you cannot bring joy, then do not bring distress. If you cannot praise, then do not blame.”
[Tanbīh al-Ghāfilīn 1/165]
Once someone called out to Ibn Al-Mubārak saying: "O Zāhid!" (O the one who has renounced the worldy life)
Ibn Al-Mubārak replied: "The real zāhid is 'Umar ibn Abdul Azīz for indeed he rejected the tremendous pleasures and riches of this world that were placed at his feet, whereas I have very little to give up."
[Ibnul Qayim, tazkiyatul Nufūs]
Imām al Qurtubī (رحمه الله) mentioned in his Tafsīr:
It was said to Umm al-Muminīn Sawda (رضي الله عنها):
"Why do you not go for Hajj or make 'Umrah like the way your sisters do?"
She said: "I have already performed Hajj and 'Umrah and Allaah تعالى has commanded me that I should stay inside my house."
The sub-narrator said: "By Allāh! She did not go out of her house except when her Janāzah (funeral) was taken out."
[al-Jāmi' li ahkām al-Qur'ān 14/180-181]
Ibnul Qayyim رحمه الله stated:
"Whoever pays no attention to teaching his child that which will benefit him and he leaves him to waste away without care then he is extremely sinful. Most children are corrupted (and led to failure) due to their parents. They pay no attention to them and leave off teaching them the obligations of the religion and the Sunan. So they ruin them whilst they are still children. And they (the children) are not able to benefit themselves and their parents do not benefit them."
[Tuhfatul Mawdūd fi Ahkāmil Mawlūd, p.80]
"When a woman adheres to the teachings of Islaam, she will be happy in this life and the Hereafter, and she has aided in building a strong society that is adherent and honorable, full of purity and chastity.
However, if she fails to implement the teachings of Islaam, regresses into the pits of despicableness, and falls into the sludge of corruption, she loses her honor and lofty status. Indeed, if she pollutes herself with despicableness, she causes shame and disgrace to herself, to her family, and to her relatives. She causes their heads to hang in sorrow and detracts from their standing amongst the people."
Abū Hayyān al-Andalusī رحمه الله:
"The customs of the women in Andalus was that nothing from a woman was shown except one eye"
[al-Bahr al-Muhīt(7/25)]
"The believer does not panic if Allāh deprives him of what he loves and gives him what he hates, for he may wish for something that entails evil for him and hate something that entails good for him. ʿĀd was destroyed by a cloud that they had their hopes in and Mūsa was saved by a sea that he feared."
إذا سألوك يوماً:
لماذا انت حزين؟
جاوب بصدق: و قل لهم:
أنى قليل الاستغفار
و هاجر للقرآن
If they ask you: Why are you sad?
Tell them truthfully: and say to them:
I rarely make istighfār & left reading Qur'ān

Ibn al Qayyim رحمه الله continues about Shaykh al-Islaam ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله:
"And Allaah knows that I have never saw anyone with a purer life than him despite what he was experiencing of hardship and lack of relaxation and rest, and despite his imprisonment and fear of being killed. With all of this, he lived the purest life, had the strongest and most open heart, was happiest in spirit, and had a face that emanated the brightness of delight. When we were frightened, had desperate thoughts, and felt as if the world was choking us, we would rush to him. Simply by seeing him and hearing his words, this would all turn into relaxation, certainty and assurance. So, glory to the One who allowed His slaves to witness His Paradise before meeting Him and opened for them its doors in this life, giving them from its taste and sweet breeze that they have been dedicating their strenght to seeking and competing for."
[Al-Waabil as-Sayyib (p. 44)]
‘O my Rab, I am in need of whatever goodness you grant me.’
