WOMEN WHO WORK VOL. 1
A new series by Alexus Krysten and Christine Hernandez dedicated to women of poverty. Women of wealth. Strong women. Weak women. Wicked women. Sick women. Passionate women. Depressed women who don’t know their worth just yet. Because, even though you may not have a job, we know you’re working if you’re trying. WORK WOMEN. KNOW YOUR WORTH.
More to come
WOMEN WHO WORK ft. Teomati Sacred Copal Incense Vol. 2
She flies, she lights, she ignites. She clears her mind of stagnant dust. The spirit divine pushes at the soles of her bare feet. Her wings can span again like the day she was born. “I want to feel you,” she said with her chocolate eyes to the sky. The dead pedals that bid goodbye to their master danced in the wind and touched her skin. Becoming her inner light. She danced with them all night. She touched them with her smile and cried and smiled and cried.
WOMEN WHO WORK ft. writers block Vol. 3
In her mind, she sees her own reflection. Her damaged chemical properties prevent her from writing as she does so effortlessly. The awareness inflames at her core. She then turns her perspective to her hands, which are caressing her brain. The overwhelming imagery spouts with spilling words that stem from her depression and anxiety.
Her bible burned as she fed the flames her exhausted fingers. As the luminescence gleamed, her tunnel vision widened. Finally, each character she wrote, read itself to her and branded her mind. A new comprehension flared just before the pages twisted to ash.
She recalled the moments that lead up to her compelling disclosure. No matter what frames her perspective, she understood there will always be darkness to her but only she hinders her mind. And only she can light it.
