how do you manage to make 3d look like 2d (mostly talking abt ur renders for infected and unpleasant)

I rely mostly on texturing and outlines when it comes to 2d models! The difficult part is figuring out how to get an accurate 2d look to a certain model, especially characters with specific artstyles
