Otchego eto prezhde ne znala from Tchaikovsky’s Iolanta, sung by Galina Vishnevskaya.
Role: Iolanta, blind daughter of King René Singer: Olga Mykytenko Opera: Iolanta (P. Tchaikovsky)
In my opinion, the sheer blindfold worn by Iolanta in Tchaikovsky’s last opera is a brilliant way of emphasizing her blindness. Subtle, but brilliant.
Peroxide! Where are you?
Tiffany! I’m so sorry, I’m not sure what happened to me. Please don’t tell me that I’ve missed much again?
No not much just same old. Although I have to warn you to please be careful if you go downstairs. It’s flooded. I would tell you who did it but you will probably be mad.
Please, tell me who flooded your house! I’m not sure why you think I would be mad at you for it.
The Mist flooded it. We made a deal awhile back that I wasn’t allowed to talk to him but I had to one day then as punishment for breaking the deal he flooded the house. I thought you would be mad because you didn’t want me talking to him anymore.
I'm not mad, however I am a little upset. It's my fault, really. If I was paying more attention to you instead of off in my own mind this wouldn't have happened.

When you had your power could you see if a someone had feelings for some?
I don't think that I had the power to go as far as to see who their affections were for, but yes, I could tell when someone was experiencing fondness for another.
Tiffany? Are you in here?
Peroxide? Yes I’m in here
“Oh, good.” She moved closer to Tiffany, placing her hands on her friend’s shoulder with uncertainty. “I’m sorry I haven’t been around lately, how have you been holding up?”
“Where you okay Peroxide? I apologize for not begin around either” Peroxide’s question caused Tiffany to sigh “I’ve been better”
Peroxide frowned. “It’s alright, really. You’ve been going through a lot. Looking back on it, this situation with Longcloud is probably what I had predicted before I…” She trailed off, sitting down next to her friend.
Tiffany looked over at Peroxide “Before you what?” Quickly she realized what she meant “Oh right. I feel bad I haven’t helped much on getting your power back. I’ve been so busy with Longcloud”
“Longcloud’s situation is more dire than mine. Besides, I think I’ve gotten used to it by now. And who knows why my powers left? Maybe I’m not meant to get them back.”
“But you need some sort of sight” She decided to leave the subject so her friend wouldn’t be upset “I’ve been thinking lately. Would you want to move in again? It’s up to you. I thought I could help you and having someone here would probably cheer me up. Since Longcloud left I’ve spent most of my time just laying around and being upset”
Peroxide welcomed the change of subject, thinking the offer over in her head. “I would love to help cheer you up, but are you sure I wouldn’t cause you too much trouble? I’ve gotten used to it by now, but it’s still difficult for me to get around.”
“You would never cause me trouble. If I thought you were going to I wouldn’t offer. Like I said before it’s up to you”
“Well in that case, perhaps it would be good for me to stick close to someone I can trust.”
“Of course you can trust me” She was about to hug Peroxide but didn’t want to suddenly scare her “Thanks for deciding to stay again”
“Hey, no problem, it’ll be fun, right?” She reached her hand out, searching for Tiffany’s.
Tiffany grabbed Peroxide’s hand gently “Of course. Should I lead you to your room now?”
“That would be great.” She smiled, squeezing her friend’s hand in her own.
Tiffany smiled that Peroxide seemed happy to stay again “It is the same room as last time and it’s right across the hall from mine”
“Sounds good.” She got up to move, but then paused. “Do you uh, want me to stick around for a little while longer? You seemed pretty down when I first came in.”
A small smile appeared on Tiffany’s face because Peroxide cared for how she was feeling “Would you? I just feel like bugging you with my problems”
“No, no, of course not.” She sat back down next to Tiffany. “Do you want to talk about it?”
“I’ve just been so upset about everything going on with Longcloud. It’s all my fault. Also I care about him a lot and lost him” Tears started streaming down her face “This has been the second time I lost someone I cared for”
“Shhh, hey, it’s okay.” Peroxide wrapped her arms around her friend and held her close. But she pulled away a little as Tiffany continued. “…the second time?”
Tiffany nodded “Yes, in my past life I lost a guy I loved named James unexpectedly like I lost Longcloud” She thought for a moment “I think I mentioned him to you once. It was that day you found me and I didn’t have any memory of Tomorrow Land”
“You’re right, I believe you did. And listen, I don’t know too much about Longcloud’s situation but how could it possibly be all your fault?”
“This anon kept telling me to open this room in his house. It said if I did Longcloud would be happy. So I did and some how this Mist character took over Longcloud when I did that. He was the anon” Tiffany began to cry again “I just wanted him happy. He’s probably so mad at me”
“Tiffany, perhaps I’m missing something but do you really think that such a powerful creature could have taken over Longcloud just because you opened a door? That doesn’t seem to make much sense to me. Who told you that this was your fault? Was it the Mist? An anon?”
“I’m not sure. He said this has happened before and nobody said it was my fault…I told myself it was. I was dumb enough to listen to the Mist. If I didn’t go into the house and did what he said Longcloud would be with us now”
Peroxide turned Tiffany so that their faces were towards each other, as if she was looking her friend in the eyes. "Tiffany, can you do something for me? I want you to stay as far away from him as possible. I don't care what he says about you or Longcloud or anyone else. Don't talk to him. Alright? Please do this for me."
