ok but why is it never addressed that chrome was able to fight at full capacity while recovering from losing an eye. an eye on her DOMINANT side. an eye that wasn’t replaced with an illusion like half her fucking inner organs were. like ???? a thirteen-year-old former school girl basically died, was resurrected while losing half of her field of vision—on her dominant side no less—and still fought off an arcobaleno and used mukuro’s hell-learned skills with no problem (with her own willpower!!! mukuro wasn’t driving, tsuna even addresses this!!!) and the anime still treated her as useless. like what the Fuck, ppl.

A free hand reaches up, touching her hair as it takes a moment to remember what exactly Mako had felt so inspired to do with her hair that particular morning. An flush washes over Ryuko's face -- embarrassment mixing with irritation as she tries to figure out how exactly to react to both the chosen hairstyle and her big sister's Satsuki's gentle tone of voice.
"N-no, that's-- Mako decided she wanted to do something, since my hair was getting longer." The magical girl style buns are quickly destroyed by Ryuko's fingers tearing through them, ruffling her own hair back into it's usual chaotic mess. "Need t' get it cut, just... haven't gotten around to it."
She won't vocalize why. It seems silly to have a discomfort around scissors.
