Come see us at the Lake Oswego Festival of the Arts!
Here’s some beginner’s Photoshop tips!
Summer is around the corner, and Miss Anthology is in full swing!
June 1st, this Saturday, is the deadline to submit!
Also, if you are in the Portland Metro area, check out our Summer Workshops!
Join us tonight as we compete for a $1000 micro-grant from Awesome Portland!
If you follow Miss Anthology on Instagram or Twitter, you might have caught some of our #TuesdayTips!
Miss Anthology crew member Jay uses both a highlighter and a non-photo blue pencil before inking! The highlighter is great for loose, gestural forms with small details added with the non-photo blue pencil. The ink lays nicely atop both, and doesn’t appear when you scan as a bitmap or text document!
What’s your favorite method?
Comics, illustrations, character designs, sketchbook work, game design, and more!
Are you 21 or younger, and identify as female and/or LGBTQIA2S+? We’d love to see your work! Miss Anthology produces a yearly comics anthology featuring the work of young creators from the Pacific Northwest (Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Northern California) FOR FREE! No submission fee! This can be a great opportunity, a “foot in the door,” to get experience with the publishing process and to get your work out there!
Our books are sold in comic shops and bookstores across the PNW, at comic conventions, and academic conferences! Creators will get a chance to showcase and sign their work at a Book Release party, as well as further opportunities to work with Miss Anthology in the future!
The process is easy: Fill out the submission form, and then upload your work!
