What is faith?

Whenever I find myself wanting to pray, I find myself asking “to whom or to what”. Lately I have been trying to find my faith. I wanna have someone or something to believe in. I see all these people praying and believing in their “Gods”. I have tried to believe in what I was brought up into, but I just cannot convince myself to believe in something that I always question, something that is based on a book that was written thousands of years ago. Don't get me wrong, if you believe in Jesus by all means, I ain,t judging, to each their own. I just ask of you the same curtesy. I just want to find my path. I mean whenever I have a child, I don't even know what I would tell them what is real and what isn't. . . What is faith?

DREADS

So I haven't really been on my tumblr in a minute. . .  but I have a question for you all. . . to whoever can give me any advise or answers I would really appreciate it very much! So I have been wanting dreads for the longest time, and I have been doing so much research on this but I just cant seem to make up my mind on which method to go with to start my dreads. I'm having a hard time to either go with the backcombing or twist n rip method. If you have dreads and wanna help a homie out that would be dope!
