For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. -John 3:16
There is no love on earth that could ever surpass God’s love for us. He sacrificed His own Son for the forgiveness of sins of the people who turned their backs on Him, who desecrated His Sabbaths, who never kept His statutes and commandments. Yes, we gravely sinned against Him and we cannot understand His ways but because He is Sovereign, He is loving and merciful, He is God and He is good, He did that for you and for me.
Jesus who knew no sin came to the world to be the ultimate sacrifice for the atonement of our sins. No other person on earth could take His part, only Jesus, only Him. Everyone else had fallen short of God’s glory that is why He willingly sacrificed Himself and surrendered to God’s will. That is vast LOVE for LOVE can do many great things!
Because of what the Lamb of God has done on the Cross, we were given the rights to be called worthy and the rights to be called children of God. He made a way when there seems to be no way. He was the way for us to be reconciled with God. Thank You Father for Your mercy and Your grace. Thank You Lord Jesus for what You have done for me. Thank You for the gift of salvation. I will forever be grateful to You and I will forever acknowledge You as my personal Lord and Savior. I love You Lord Jesus!
