Natural way to get the red out
So I had been doing a bit of research on Oxyclean and I haven't been too impressed environmental wise. I did need it in an emergency and it did do it's job (way to go advertising).
But I was recently having some children over (mama had her a new baby! yay! new life!) and one of her little darlings wiped her hands with sauce on my light colored chairs! NO! so I jumped into action, I read about cleaning ovens with the power of baking soda and vinegar, just the regular white distilled kind. So hey why not couldn't do any more damage.
1. Make a paste of the baking soda and water. wipe onto stain and let sit, probably until you can see some of the stain color on the white of the paste
2. Spray vinegar onto stain, don't worry about the amount of vinegar.
3. Blot dry, and stain be gone!
It worked and now I am going around my house treating stains that have been set it. I found a very old unknown orange stain and it has been banished.
Follow up on gnats
Soooo when I wrote my gnat post I was...well...having an ocd moment; with my home invaded by little foreign insects I was having sleeping problems. No vacuuming up gnats is not going to work I promise you I tried multiple times. They are in fact evil with obvious teleportation powers or ninja skills.
What you do is take a jar roughly fill it between half way or a 1/4 of the way up with apple cider vinegar. Take the lid of the jar and poke holes in it. Gnats are attracted to apple cider vinegar and when they smell it they will go into the holes and not be able to get back out. While the evil little ninja insects are fast like lightening they seem not to grasp the concept of getting out the same way they get in. so either they drown in the vinegar they were attracted to in the first place or lose their food source and die. Either way I'm a happy camper.
Gnats are attracted to food being left out and reproducing in said food. While you are treating your gnat problem take out the trash frequently and if you have a kitty clean out their box as frequently as you can. They will bread in the kitty clumps and it's gross
on a side note I've had others tell me that they did not need to use a jar that all the gnats willingly drowned themselves. I did not have that result so it's up to you.
The Removal Process has Started
So thanks to maids.com I'm using an non-acetone nail polish remover and a washable cloth to blot at the polish. This isn't a light stain, it's a very deep stain that was caused by a bottle breaking and the whole bottle spilled onto the carpet behind the night stand.
I'm blotting with the cloth applying generous amounts of remover straight onto the cloth until the stain has been removed as best as I can then after I can't blot anymore I rub the cloth into the carpet to grab the stain deep in.
So far it's working!
Nail polish out of carpet
so those that have read my previous posts I did the impossible of getting red of carpet successfully. Now my challenge is getting nail polish out of carpet. I've got a few ideas but I'll let you know what is successful. If anybody has any ideas please let me know.
Nail Biting
So a quick trick I've found to my stress nail biting is using any glitter nail polish at the ends of my nails. Even in my most stressed out moments my hands have stayed away from my mouth.
Trust me after you've bitten into glittery nail polish once you will never do it again. (Not a fun experience). It started from watching nail art videos on instagram and trying to get into nail art. I did several coats of the glitter at the ends. when you run your finger down your nails it feels like a bump at the ends of them.
I know everyone has their own tricks but this is my own personal experience.
Oily Nails
I was told when I was younger by our regular nail salon lady that the reason that the reason that my acrylic nails would only stay on for 3 days were because if my severe oily nail beds.
Ever since then I have been on the hunt for anything to stay on my nails, jamberries, and I have tried every nail polish known to man. Even tried wiping down my nails with rubbing alcohol to no avail.
I finally found Essie nail polish, for the first time I actually had to take the nail polish off instead of peeling it off.
Normally I'm about cures but sometimes it's about products.
I am not being paid to promote the Essie nail polish line, I am purely trying to help those with the same condition as I am blessed with having. I hope the helps someone.

Fleas!!!
So I am suffering because of fleas. My cat is probably suffering more than I am but he doesn't have OCD. Few tips to get rid of them. *Flea comb is a must. Put fleas you take off of your fur-baby in rubbing alcohol. Don't put them down the sink they will climb back up like ninjas. *Dawn dish soap. Bath them in it daily and let them sit for 5 min to let the soap sink in and kill those little bastards. *Diatomaceous Earth. Spread it around your house, and on your little flea magnet. It will dry up the fleas and kill them. I'm also getting a product called Knockout it's at Home Depot for those of you living in the US. It's a fogger and will protect against fleas roaches ants and maybe a few other things for 120 days. I wanted to keep it chemical free but apparently that's no longer an option. I'm more worried about my cat and his comfort. Lastly flea caller. Since his fleas like to go to his face and neck. The flea protectant I got has only mildly worked for his back' belly and legs. These are not substitutes for flea protectants like advantage or frontline. But should help in an emergency.
Hey I wanted to remind everyone about the use of sunscreen. It's important for your skin health, no sun burn no skin cancer. Please use moisturizer with spf in it and chapstick too, to protect your lips. Yes sunburned lips are awful I know from personal experience.

Rosemary oil
Sooo I was bored and decided to research herb oils and apparently rosemary oil is great for bug bites. Conveniently I happen to have one of those. It works and I now smell amazing. No itching it made it stop swelling and the reaction is stopping.
Apple Cider Vinegar
Wow it's been a while! But I have a new discovery. My jeans have been souring and coconut oil residue smells nasty after a while and I had no cure. I went to my usual white distilled vinegar and I got nothing. But I used apple cider vinegar (about 1/4 cup per load) on a whim and it worked! I can leave my wet laundry in the washer for a day and a half and no sour smelly laundry that I have to rewash! Also I hang up most of my clothes and none of them soured on a humid day. Lastly my work out clothes smell fresh as a daisy; I've never been happier. It has multiple uses but I've been using it to clean my floors. Apparently the tile in my new place is very against the swiffer wet pads, they leave a sticky residue and I can't take that. New miracle uses for vinegar! Thank you
Lion, Tiger And Bear Raised Together After Rescue From Drug Dealer
Baloo the bear, Leo the lion, and Shere Khan the tiger were found locked in a basement undernourished and abused. The trio was originally owned by a drug dealer who didn’t properly care for them, leading to neglect and poor health. In 2001, Noah’s Ark Animal Sanctuary, a nonprofit that cares for animals in need, came to the rescue, and took them to Locust Grove, Georgia, where they were treated for injuries. They could have been separated but since at the moment of the rescue they were already friends, the sanctuary decided to keep them together. The abuse they suffered together as babies has bonded them into a loving brotherhood that does not recognize species.

The John Lawson House might be the creepiest house in America. No one knows who lives there, aside from a number of mannequins with a habit of changing clothing and moving on their own during the night. Their gestures point towards an unsolved riddle, a story that unravels every day, regardless of whether anyone is there to see it.
Many believe the secret to the dolls lies in the history of the house and property. During a two-week cold wave in the winter of 1871, a train crashed two-hundred feet from the house, killing 22 people on impact. Often times the dolls are found pointing towards the area of the crash site. Other times, they’re discovered with their heads looking towards the only other historical house left of the street, which has sat abandoned for many years.
The house itself was built in 1845 and was one of the only surviving buildings left after a massive fire destroyed nearly all the property on the block. Curiously, the dolls are regularly found holding strange objects which change places as frequently as they do. Books, empty birdcages, towels, brushes and overflowing cups of potpourri have all been photographed by curious passers by, tucked into plastic hands or perched in laps. Sometimes at night a faint light can be seen in the kitchen, shining through the dark drapes that conceal the inside of the house from curious eyes. (x)
Filing this RIGHT the hell under “NOPE” and “Not a chance.”
I wonder if this is real or if its a madeup tumblr story
Oh God. This is that house I used to see on the way back to the train station after a DR test in Wappingers Falls. I always wondered what the hell was up with those damn mannequins, but never had any real desire to go over there and check it out any closer.
It’s not a tumblr thing.
