Well, this is definitely interesting.
oebalius:
He does not break. The switch of her legs, subtle and quick, but of course nonetheless, was a displaying of allure. He did not want her to give him anything. Sitting, yet still had touched even the glass, only to give a gaze to it, even if he would drink of it, he would not become hit. Biology was strange for him, wasn’t it?
He was curious, at least. So he asked.
“ – Why? ”
“Why what?”
She wanted to know what he was curious about. She simply wanted to share a drink with a man. Was that so difficult to do? He had secrets she wanted to uncover and a life that was complex and far from dull. She just wanted to know him.

‘ —— if you don’t mind, i have a few questions. ’
“Ask. I’m an open book.”
oebalius:
Seeing the wine glass traverse yonder to his corresponding side of the table, her parallel, the Warrior would look down to it, raising his head up and back to the woman only named Jeanette. Taking her offer, slowly however, he would sit in his seat, looking back to here, having yet to touch the glass of win she poured for him. He didn’t respond. Only watched.
If he expected anything from her, she wouldn’t give it to him. She knew how to stare down a person until they broke. She switched the position of her legs, crossing one over the other, and leaned back against the chair.
She held onto the glass of wine, with slender fingers wrapped around the stem of the glass. She brought it up to her lips, tilted it back and took a sip.

oebalius:
What did she yearn for, – him? Was she really wanting to taste a lonesome Soldier that was always mistaken as some long-lost relative to Bruce Wayne?
Oh, irony it was for her to crave for something that pure, in the sense of living.
“ Likewise. ”
Without saying anything to him, she poured him a glass of wine and pushed it across the table to him. She rested her chin against her hand while she watched him.
“Have a seat and relax.”
oebalius:
Observing her, the poise in the crossed feature Jeanette would give out before the Warrior. He found her more interested in him than once thought.
“ Are you a friend, or foe? ”
She rested her elbow against the arm of the chair, eyes roaming up and down his body. She wanted to see what he was capable of, but she thought it a little too soon.
“Friend.” She looked into his eyes. “You wouldn’t want me as an enemy.”

“ You say that like it’s a good thing. ”
She leaned back against the chair, one leg crossed over the other.
“It is a good thing.”

“ – What do you mean by sense? ”
The tone was dubious, albeit stoically inclined and coarsely monotonous.
He ignored her offer.
“Death, darling. You smell of it.”
