Serious OOC Note.

As much as I hate to have to do it, I just want to write this to let people know some things and lay some stuff out. Some folks may have noticed that I've been pretty scarce this past week, and in some places, most of the month.

Real life has been a mix of family quarrels, mental/physical health issues, funerals, financial woes, and other stuff. I'm not really writing this to complain so much as explain. I'm not really sure when things are going to calm down, and I'm well aware it could be worse. But it's enough that my creativity is kind of in the dumpster and I have no energy for RP, writing, or a lot of gaming as of late.

That said, I'm taking a break from Wildstar. With as little as I've logged on this month, the sub doesn't seem entirely worth it right now. Plus the only reason to be on is for RP, and I'm not altogether capable of that at this point. Not sure how the break will last, but I will holler when it ends for sure.

This post probably sounded more like a pity party than I intended it to. Apologies. Additionally, I would like to apologize to anyone I've worried with unexplained absences. I'll be back when things quiet down. <3

(Truth) Danica- Does Tommy stand a chance?

(This ended up being a little on the NSFW side, so read at your own risk. :P)

All that was visible of the dancer from behind the privacy screen was her silhouette as she chuckled. Tassels dangled as she bent over to carefully slip her feet into a pair of thigh high fishnet stockings. She took great care in attaching the clips of her garter belt. Humming, the shadow of her form pranced over to her dressing chair where she rested one foot to smooth out her stocking. “Tommy.. Tommy.. oh! Ohhh. The fella with the piercings, right? He’s cute. But young. Too young for me.”

Danica turned away from the chair and pulled on a thick bathrobe before stepping from behind the privacy screen. She made the bare minimum of effort in keeping it closed, and one of the black tassels swung lazily as she sauntered to the mirror to check her hair and makeup. She added a layer of gloss to her lips and smacked them, winking at her reflection. “I mean, think about it. I’m at -least- ten years older! Plus, mixing business with pleasure isn’t really my thing, sweetness.”

With a sigh, Danica looked at her shoe collection. “I’ll admit,” she canted her head, staring thoughtfully at her favorite pair of black stilettos. After a second of consideration, she grabbed them, inspecting the metallic heels with a grin. “Watching him squirm in his chair is pretty damn entertaining. But that’s as far as it’s going. He watches me, gets hot and bothered, and I get paid. Simple.” She retreated behind the screen again with shoes in hand, losing her robe so she could finish getting dressed for the night’s show.

“Hope he shows up tonight. Not gonna lie, he’s my favorite patron. I’ll give him that much!” Danica stepped into her stilettos and slipped into a minidress with a giggle.

“How do I feel about Ajiru?” Adaiah fidgeted. She was never entirely skilled at speaking frankly about her feelings. And this? This was very new territory. Still, something compelled her to answer despite the warmth spreading from her dark cheeks up to her ears.

“She’s… beautiful. And intelligent. Resourceful. Skilled. Graceful. Guarded. Strong. She’s everything. She makes me feel like there are still many things worth fighting for in this universe. I’m confident I could go on for several more hours. But.. I’d endure any pain or hardship if it meant keeping her safe. I love her.” The spellslinger took a deep breath and smiled as a pleasant thought overtook her.

Cahaya is incredibly wary of buzzbings after watching a Dominion soldier suffer a sting in Galeras and swell up in a rather grotesque manner.

As a child, Adaiah dreamed of becoming a botanist when she grew up. The fact that she's allergic to a number of plants drove her dreams in other directions.
