The best wings you will ever have in your life. Period. Located on Keystone Ave. and 56th St., KSR is one of those hole in the wall sports bars that makes everyone feel at home. So come in, grab a seat with the best eating your glorious wings to watching the game ratio, and prepare to be amazed. 

Look at those babies. Oh, and the bleu cheese is a bazillion calories of happiness.

Come here to sit on the lantern-lit patio, grab a drink, play a round of pool, dance on the bar, and visit the Metropolis sex shop. Yup. All of that in one glorious place.

Bru Burger Bar !! 

Even though a few of my friends swear by it, I just can't seem to fall in love with this place. The burgers are made exactly how you order it, which is a relief because some places do not know what a "medium well done" means. However, the patty just wasn't flavorful. On the flip side, the house ketchup is so good, I've considered buying it in bulk. 

Bazbeaux Pizza !!!!

An Indianapolis classic, Bazbeaux creates fresh-made pies in a variety of options from a super cheesy cheese pizza to the Mediterranean pie with house made chorizo. The setting here is perfect for a family meeting or perhaps even a intimate date.

Basically slop on a plate. But the best slop on a plate you'll ever have. The authentic creole menu changes daily and while all options are stomach filling and delicious, my favorite is the Crawfish Etouffee with an extra slice of garlicky french bread. You gotta have an extra slice man. 

Yogulatte !!!!!

Offering up coffee choices and froyo, it is easy to see why I gave this the max amount of exclamation points. Froyo options change steadily and the topping options range from cereal to the freshest blackberry I ever did see. Of course be sure to grab an actual yogulatte, an excellent combo of froyo, espresso, milk, ice and flavoring. If the staff feel like it, they may even ask to take your picture and add it to the picture wall.

Old Point Tavern !!!!!

My favorite restaurant on Mass Ave. An eclectic menu offers items anywhere from a very generous helping of nachos to truly homemade chili. The bar is fully stocked with a wide variety of domestic and international beers, the staff are personable and relaxed, and the overall vibe is an impression of "life is good". Plus the prices low!  

FortyFive Degrees !!!!

This trendy restaurant has the most unique interior design in Indy. Walls stick out in odd angles (hence the name) and graffiti brandishes the walls,but the kitchen offers up some of the best sushi in Indy.  Although the staff and overall vibe of the place can seem a bit snooty to some, it is worth the carefully handmade rolls, wakame seaweed, and perfectly cooked sea scallops. Oh, and did I mention half-price sushi Sundays? Because that exists.

First Friday

Every first friday of the month art galleries open their doors to display wonderful, local artworks. For Mass Ave. the kick-off point is at the Old National Centre parking lot where almost all local food trucks come to sell their amazing eats. 

Theatre on the Square

A great place to see community theater and Broadway productions. Tickets range from $20 to $30. 

The Cultural Trail 

Weaving throughout Indianapolis, the cultural trails extends the length of Mass. Ave. This trail is great for bike riders to get from one area of Indianapolis to the next. semi-unperturbed by motorists and pedestrians (whom have their own lane). 

Indy Reads

This non-profit organization & book store provides "basic literacy tutoring to illiterate and semi-illiterate adults in the Indy area" as noted on the indy reads website. Go here to grab a book and maybe participate in a book reading by a local author. (JOHN GREEN! AH!!)
