Picture this: You are living in a world where no one is present. Physically, they are, mentally they are not. Glued to glass, everyone lives day to day, not even noticing time is gone. The Elitists have tampered with the minds of millions through exposing them to special applications designed to tor their brains. Now, instead of warm memories, the grey blade of Elitists slash junk into their minds. Nobody knows, or they all pretend they don’t. But slowly, they all decay……
It seems like dystopian literature but the cold truth is: it’s our reality. Don’t believe me? Go take a walk, you will see people obsessively taking pictures of themselves, some others mindlessly swiping and many just staring.
Ok, you don’t want to touch some grass? Good, because there’s better evidence at home. Open up any social media app (without being logged in), what do you see? Mindless junk. ‘Skibbidi toilet’, ‘6-7’. Just rubbish being labelled as entertainment when it has no element of it (which by the way, I believe is stories).
Why are we accepting this? Why? And alright, fine. People get to do what they want, that’s alright. If they enjoy it, they enjoy it. But can we just talk about how this is intentionally fed to us? Did you know why some of the Facebook research staff was fired? Because their reports admitted that Facebook led to depression and anxiety. THEY WERE LITERALLY FIRED FOR TELLING THE TRUTH.
This just goes to show that these big companies (not going to name any because this post might be deleted then) are willing to do anything to pull us down? Why? Goodness, only they know.
But that doesn’t mean we should accept it. It’s not about enjoying brain-rot, it’s about OUR FREEDOM. They are feeding us what they like, and we buffoons are happily accepting it. THIS HAS TO STOP NOW. We need to take action before our lives become actual dystopian literature.
Please, I beg you. For the sake of world, help us. Don’t think that your action won’t make a difference, they will. Just please, do it. Boycott these apps, companies and organisations. The world needs you.
P.S. This is coming from someone who enjoyed scrolling and is a die-hard meme fan.
Oh, and I am not attacking tumblr. It's one of the very few sites which is made for real content sharing, not indocrination.
