Carmina Burana: O Fortuna // Juliet & Andrew
“I know camouflage is a big no. That’s what my sister tells me.” Andrew mused, trying to keep up that part of the conversation since she seemed to be interested in it. “That is why numbers are left to those who enjoy them. But, interestingly enough, the majority of the world actually dislikes mathematics.” He said, giving off a random statistic before nipping his bottom lip. When she congratulated him, he raised a brow before chuckling. “Thanks. I don’t think anyone has ever congratulated me on being a genius. People usually just kind of nod and smile.” Andrew said with another chuckle, realizing that he was enjoying her company. It was interesting, really, since he didn’t enjoy talking to a lot of people. “It must be hard but why can’t people just phone in their order and have someone pick it up? It’s what we do at the office. It’s easier and doesn’t waste valuable time. Also, if someone fucks up, it’s the coffee shop’s fault, not the one doing the coffee run. We make sure to send them a list as well to make sure it was done properly so there are no mess ups.”
“Your sister is a very wise. If you must wear camouflage just limit yourself to only one piece. Full camouflage ensembles can be cringe-worthy.” She shudders at the very thought. “I am definitely in that majority and it sucks because math is such an important part of the world we live in. Capitalism and all that.” She shrugged and elbowed him lightly in the stomach. She was having a good time. “More people should congratulate you. It’s pretty impressive. Not many geniuses in the world, at least I don’t think so.” She watched the intern check over the coffees as they were placed in cup holders. “That’s a great idea. I think people just like making stuff extra difficult for interns. It’s like a rite of passage.”
