Meet the OC: Valentine Phoenix

Name: Valentine Phoenix

Nickname(s): Val

Gender: Male

Physical Appearance: Valentine has white dyed hair and dark brown/blackish eyes. He has freckles on his nose and cheeks but the majority of the freckles are on his cheeks. He has broad shoulders and a well toned body. He is 6′5″.

Tattoo(s): None at this time but he rather likes the idea of getting one somewhat soon

Birthday: August 8

Zodiac: Leo

Parents: Ava (Mother) and Liam (Father)

Personality: Valentine is a dramatic and proud man but he makes a great leader. He is rather clever and cunning but he can get protective easily of those dear to him. Valentine is very creative as well and doesn’t get frustrated easily.

Voice: He is a tenor but can hit lower notes when upset

Common Behaviors: Valentine is the type of man to lie to protect others. He is one to keep a promise to the best of his ability.He can be quick and sharp with his words with those that annoy him but to loved ones hes very sweet and gentle. Lastly, he does smoke from time to time. 

Likes: theater, being admired, expensive things, spicy foods, getting dressed up, gold

Dislikes: losing control, being ignored, facing difficult reality, overly sweet foods, being too warm 

Sexuality: Bisexual

Style: it truly depends on the day but lately it has been more hipster like. He has his lip pierced and his ears pierced as well.

Relationships: 

Ava Phoenix: The mother of Valentine that passed away after giving birth to Valentine. She is said to be a woman without a filter but she was loved for her honesty. She was known for her sharp tongue which got her in trouble but her charm always got her out of that trouble.

Liam Phoenix: A man who was known as the trickster of the family. Sadly, after his wife died he struggled to connect with his son but instead showed him affection by giving gifts and money. He does have a healthy relationship with Valentine but not a close one.

Jasper Kinsey: Almost like the brother Valentine never had, Jasper is a dear friend to Valentine. The two work together for the Andrei as Valentine is one of the few humans working for the organization. Jasper introduced Valentine to Nova to protect her while he went on his current mission.

Nova Vega: A new friend to Valentine. He is supposedly helping her find Jasper but in truth he is leading her away from Jasper to protect both her and Jasper. He finds Nova entertaining and a possible candidate to becoming a good friend of his. 

Hali Nerida: Valentine met Hali after Nova found the half mermaid. He is actually attempting to help her figure out her past by using his sources in the Andrei. He finds Hali very interesting and rather adores her. He fears the day that they might have to part ways. 

Bio: As stated before, Valentine is one of the few humans to work for the Andrei but he is known for his talent for finishing off targets. He keeps his job a secret, one which only Jasper knows because they are often teamed up together for a mission. When Jasper left for his current mission, he left Valentine behind to protect Nova as he feared that someone might find out Nova’s connection to him.

Meet the OC: Hali Nerida

Name: Hali Nerida

Nickname(s): Hal

Gender: Female

Physical Appearance: Hali has purple hair with blue eyes. Due to being half mermaid, she has dark green/black scales on cheekbones and hips. When she transforms, her tail is mostly black. She is 5′6″ and has tanned skin with her body type as a swimmer’s body

Birthday: February 23

Zodiac: Pisces

Parents: Not known at this time

Personality: Hali is overly trusting but haunted by her past. However, she barely remembers her past but the parts she does remember (and recovers) terrifies her. She is a musical being and a day dreamer. She is also compassionate and friendly. Her emotions can get the best of her

Voice: She has a musical mid range

Common Behaviors: Hali tends to day dream and hum to herself. She won’t hesitate to sing in the shower or cry at sad movies. She often takes care of anyone who will let her

Likes: music, being able to help, bitter foods, social media, movies

Dislikes: the past, being scolded, cruelty of any kind, know it alls, spiders, horror movies

Sexuality: Straight

Nova Vega: Nova is the witch that found Hali after she washed up on the shores of Florida with little to no memory of her past. She did know who she was but not much more. Since the fateful day, Nova has been aiding Hali in recovering her memory while solving her own mystery concerning Jasper.

Bio: Hali’s past is currently unknown to her as it was quite traumatic. Her memories seem rather random to her at this point in time but they are usually triggered by events she experiences or things that are said. She is currently traveling with Nova as they both try to solve their mysteries.

Meet the OC: Jasper Kinsey

Name: Jasper Kinsey

Nickname(s): Kinny

Gender: Male

Physical Appearance: Jasper has red hair with brown eyes. He is 6′3″ with pale vampire skin.

Birthday: October 30

Zodiac: Scorpio

Parents: Rene (Mother) and Caden (Father)

Personality: Jasper is resourceful and brave but he is also very passionate and stubborn. This man is known to some as either a happy virus or a sunshine boy. However, there is another side to Jasper as he can also be very serious and he has his fair share of secrets.

Voice: He is a baritone and has a slight New York American accent

Common Behaviors: Jasper has a habit of making jokes when the situation is tense. He usually gets into things with his whole heart. He also often reads when he gets stressed to calm himself. Lastly, he will play any piano he can find. 

Likes: longtime friends, facts, truth, being correct, teasing others, having his passions, making others smile

Dislikes: Lies, revealing secrets, upset people, not being near his loved ones

Sexuality: Straight

Style: Business causal 

Home: Originally from New York but moved to Michigan when he was young

Relationships:

Rene Kinsey: The mother of Jasper. Rene is a kind vampire who takes care of the young vampires in their area. She is sweet to all that know her but she is a nightmare to those who cross her. Jasper gets his need to make other’s smile from his mother.

Caden Kinsey: The father of Jasper. Caden is more serious vampire but he isn’t a unkind vampire. He works with some of the higher ups of the vampire community but he always takes care of his friends. Jasper looks up to his father and he got into his work via his father.

Nova Vega: A friendly yet calm witch who is Jasper’s best friend since childhood. She brings out the best in Jasper and its without a doubt how special she is to him. 

Bio: Jasper is a vampire who works for a group of vampires called the Andrei. Due to this, he had to suddenly leave Michigan without a warning to anyone. To put it simply, he had a job to do and disappeared without a trace. He hopes to return soon but jobs like his don’t tend to go to plan.

Meet the OC: Nova Vega

Name: Nova Vega

Nickname(s): Nov

Gender: Female

Physical Appearance: Nova has short silver hair and emerald eyes. She is 5′3″ with fair skin and freckles across her nose,and cheeks.

Tattoo(s): She has two. One going down between her breasts that has some of the moon phases and one on her right collar bone of the constellation of Scorpio.

Birthday: September 23 

Zodiac: Libra

Parents: Callisto (mother) and Draco (father)

Personality: Nova is a social butterfly and has a hard time when she is by herself. She is also a peacemaker with an forgiving heart. Nova has always and will always be a heart worker and almost always seems to be calm despite the situation. She has a decent self esteem but there are certain things that struggles with but she rarely allows herself to be insecure around others. 

Voice: She has an alto range with a slight American Midwest accent.

Common behaviors: Nova has a habit of putting others before herself and avoiding other people’s eyes when shes upset. You will always know when she is deep in thought as she will bite/chew on her lip. This girl always has a song in her mind and will often will tap out the different notes in her head against her outer thigh. Lastly, she often writes on napkins and mumbles to herself as she reads.

Likes: harmony, magic, cosmos, plants, foxes, navy blue, potions, sweet ice coffee, sweet tea, sushi, soft piano music, beach, makeup

Dislikes: conflicts, injustice, violence, overly proud people, snakes, black coffee, rap music, overly bright days, not being able to keep a promise

Sexuality: Bisexual but tends to more interested in males

Style: mostly dresses with ankle boots and necklaces. Sometimes she also wears a black witch hat with a navy blue ribbon

Home: Michigan

Relationships: 

Callisto Vega: The mother of Nova. Callisto is a quiet woman but a rather clever witch. She is known for her spells with the moon phases and is often asked to help out on moon rituals for this reason. Nova and her mother are close and Nova often asks for help from her mother first.

Draco Vega: The father of Nova. Draco is a wizard with specialty in stars. He enjoys making the constellations help him with his work. He is a patient man with a kind smile. Nova is close to her father as well but enjoys spending time with him rather than trying to study with him.  

Jasper Kinsey: A happy go lucky vampire who is very dear to Nova. The two accidentally met as children and have been attached to one another’s hips since that faithful day. However, Jasper had suddenly gone missing and the lost of him has had a rather devastating effect on Nova. 

Nebula: Nova’s familiar. A mythical fox that is made up of gas and stars like her name. She guides Nova and helps her control her magic. The two are very close and Nebula knows Nova better than Nova ever could possible wish to know herself. 

Bio: Nova comes from a long line of witches and wizards. She had a happy childhood and was a talented witch from a young age. She is currently attending a school for talented witches but since the disappearance of Jasper, she hasn’t been herself.
