i live in southern california and theres a red shouldered hawk who visits my backyard every so often but my camera has the average photo quality of a potato so :P
Áa! Óki! <3 And yes, that is the plural. The stem word is "Píítaa" (bee-taah kinda? Emphasize the "ee"). While the plural is (bee-tay-ks? Sorta? Or bee-deh-ks, s' complicated trying to translate it into latin text. This is just the way i know).
And I LOVE RED SHOULDERED HAWKS!!! I'm too far northwest to see them so I love seeing photos of them! Der so pretty.. n' so are these photos! Do not undersell yourself or your camera! The fact it's so clearly identifiable as a red shouldered is what matters (trust me, my nicer camera doesn't have zoom so a portion of the eagle photos I take, end up with the bird being about 4 pixels long LOL)
