Imagine you're the wol arriving in ok'hanu and everyone is on the brink of despair because the crops are failing and their friends are dead and you're asked to fix this mess. apathetic pleas while youre zoning out thinking "oh no no no. Not another final days situation. I am DONE killing blasphemies" and then the hanu are like "what's wrong? Just do our silly little salute in front of the others" and then you do and their depression and suicidal thoughts are gone. Just like that. "Well that was easier than back home", you think.
