I was so excited about tonight's episode of Supernatural but now it has me all fucked up

Last day of the year and I have the stomach flu. Fitting for the shitty year I've had..

2018 will go down as the worse in history for me. It started in February with the death of my Uncle. It was unexpected but who would've thought it would snowball from there.

In May I moved into my first house. Things were finally starting to look up and I thought 2018 would be better. Then my Dad is rushed to the hospital in August and after a very short battle with cancer he passed in September. Within a few months I've had my world destroyed, built back up to only have it nuked with the loss of my Dad. A loss that I feel the effects of today. After that it was only a few weeks later and my Aunt died and I was done. I was truly done. But out of all this I found out who my true friends were. I'm truly blessed to have them in my life. They're not just friends but the greatest family anyone could ask for. They've been there for me through the roughest of times and I cannot thank them enough for everything. They know who they are. 😘

But knowing they have my back I go into 2019 with a new outlook. For the first time in a long time I am happy on a New Years Eve, regardless of being sick. I'm at peace and I'm happy. I can't wait to see what 2019 holds for me, it can't be any worse than 2018. I can't wait for new adventures with my friends. I just can't wait to see them all again.
