My thoughts about life

Well, we are in basically lockdown mode in this damn nursing home. Covid has Shown it’s ugly head again. As of today, a lot of residents here have Covid. I and many others fortunately don’t. This is so frustrating and depressing for me. This happened 2 1/2 years ago when the pandemic first started and when it was over, I thought it was really over, but I unfortunately was wrong.

A lot of people in this nursing home have gotten Covid. Up to this day, I haven’t got it. I may get it in the near future but hopefully not. I’m glad I’ve chosen not to wear a mask because I noticed that this not making any difference, when it comes to getting it.

Most of the staff here are terrified of this disease and all for the wrong reasons. I can’t fear any disease, Even if it’s for what I believe are good reason. I’ve had breast cancer twice, several people I’m related to have had cancer and a few of them have died from it.I should be more fearful cancer than any disease including Covid, but I’m not.

Wear a mask, they say you are putting others at risk. How I say, I have had all my Covid shots and I’ve had the antibody Infusion. If all that can’t protect me, Iknow a little mask can’t.

Well, I got to speak to my grandchildren through FaceTime today. It was short but very entertaining. My son and his children are my family everyone else I’m related to are just people I’m related to.

Those people thought that they were doing good by me, but all they were doing was making things more difficult for me. I’m glad that they are out of my life for good.

I’ve come to the realization that in the next 10 years this planet may have its first trillionaire! This would be so sad, it’s bad enough that we have so many billionaires but in the near future we will have at least One Trillionaire.

People have to realize that in order for one person, to be that rich, Millions and even billions of people have to suffer in Poverty and near poverty for just him to have all that money. This is someone Earth definitely does not need.

 Well,, I am hoping I can go back in time, a day after I gave birth to my son, so I could start making different decisions about my life. I’m not sure if I would make better decisions, it’s just that the Decisions I made back then really helped mess up my life. it’s really frustrating for me knowing , I can’t change or try to change things that happened to me in the past.

Today I had to talk to the Director of this Nursing home, I live in, about my night terrors when my roommate was moved to another room because of my screaming and yelling, talking loud and Rambling on, A few nights a week. I think it’s happening even more but I don’t know because I sleep through it most of the time or no one wakes me up.

I really enjoyed having her as a roommate. I’ve had so many troubles with roommates prior to her, partly due to my night terrors. This facility has been trying to help, but I told the Director that more has to be done, Since I’m required to have a roommate, like all the other residents. I really hope I can be of help more.

$1.6 billion is the Powerball amount that’s available to win tonight. If I don’t win the jackpot, I wish I could win one of the lower amounts, the higher the better. This is the highest it’s ever been.

I know I probably won’t Win the jackpot. But I guess it won’t hurt wanting to. Poverty and me never really got along. L O L!

If you love someone,you should know when you need to hold on and when you need let go. When it’s over, it’s over. Clinging on may not change the outcome, it may just prolong the pain.

Today is Valentine’s Day. It’s a day of love And to me, It’s also a day of friendship. I wish we had more days like this. We humans Need them.

I always complain about the crappy food in this nursing home. That does no good, in fact it’s gotten worse since the Time I’ve been here. I’m not the only one that complains, most of the residents do too. This issue is so frustrating for all of us.

Happy Halloween everyone! This is my favorite holiday. I have so much fun.

So, my roommate, in this nursing home that I live in, passed away a few days ago. That’s one of the reasons, I say living in a nursing home can be so depressing. I wish I wasn’t here but where can I go.

Halloween will be here soon and I can’t wait. Because it’s my favorite holiday. I couldn’t celebrate it as a child. Well at least half of my childhood. After my parents divorce, it kind a big no-no because of my mothers religion. This frustrated me no end. It appeared to be so much fun And when I grow up I made sure it was, for me.

Well, life really sucks,sometimes. Well, my life does, most of the time. How do I change that? I don’t know. I really wish I did.

Why are we here? Why is earth populated with so many different species, One of them being human? Some may think this a odd question, But I don’t.

I never thought the year 2000 would ever come and go. I never thought I would become 60 years old in this world, as it is, but I have.

What will the near future bring for us on this planet Earth, I wonder and worry about almost every day.

I’m frustrated today. I want more out of my life but unfortunately I can’t get it. I dreamed of a full life decades ago but never got it. It seems so unfair to me that if it weren’t for certain people in my life, I could’ve had at least some of the things I wanted out of it. It makes me want to scream out loud sometimes.
