WTF?!?
Seriously. what is wrong with this world?!?!? I want to jump ship... anybody with me?
Work smarter, not harder.
As Carla Glawe reflected on her job one summer, she decided that being principal at Olney Elementary School was pretty awesome, but being cooped up in an office was not. Just like that, she went mobile.
Having spent nearly a decade of my career raising funds for young cancer patients, some who passed away from the disease, I can admit there’s a phrase about cancer I can’t stand to hear:
“The patient fought a brave battle, but lost the battle with cancer.”
No, no, NO! A thousand times NO!
this is amazing

I feel this for many places in this world....
The leader who becomes charismatic is the one who can inadvertently or deliberately tap the reservoir of relevant myths in his culture and who knows how to draw upon those myths that are linked to its sacred figures, to its historical and legendary heroes, and to its historical ordeals and triumphs.

What the !?!?!?
Ladies: if you want to do well in life- educate yourself... it doesn't mean having to go to college either. Smart girls succeed. Oh, and one more thing, at least if you're gonna go with a DUMB guy, make sure he's pretty, ok? But never marry a dumb guy... trust me. 22 years and my guy amazes me with his intellect.
Learning, whether I want to or not
The one thing I learned from attending not one but two different denominations of churches is that my faith in God has never wavered. It's my faith in humanity that needs work, and my stints in churches only helped seal the deal that people are not living up to God's standards.
Whatever happened to common sense?
Seriously, what is going on in this country? Why can't the government be run like a company in tough financial times? Let's cut out the junk and make this government more efficient. It's just ridiculous.

Pinterest estimates more than 500,000 education-based ideas are pinned each day. How’s that for incredible? Thanks to a new initiative launched by Pinterest on Aug. 13, many of those ideas will fall under one umbrella making it easier and more...
love this!!
Found this on Facebook. Do your thing, Tumblr!
Wishing her all the luck and love in the world. Stay safe girl!
Want to check out a great blog full of fun career advice? Eva Steortz’s blog “From the Outhouse to the Mousehouse" is one of the most unique blogs I’ve come across on Tumblr - I frequently reblog her posts because they’re all so good. She has accomplished a lot in her career, holding executive roles at MGM, Young & Rubicam and The Walt Disney Company. But it’s her witty, common-sense approach to career development - and a celebration of staying a child at heart, no matter your age - that makes her blog such a must read.

I hate my life.
In all stages of a business, but especially in the early stage, the team is over 90 percent of the success. More than the idea, more than the market, the team is what matters the most.

Ok, so this zero negativity thing in my life? It's extremely difficult. EXTREMELY. DIFFICULT.
But I keep trying.
I found the perfect motivation for me, it says:
Coffee in hand,
Big girl panties pulled up,
Sparkle in my eye and a smile on my face.
Yep, I'm ready for the day.....
Bring it on!
I love this. It reminds me that I need to focus and deal with things like an adult. It also reminds me that a smile is the most powerful thing on earth. A good smile, even though forced, can often work it's magic on my own heart. I choose to see the good wherever I can, wherever I am. My problem is that often when I do see it, I choose to ignore it or focus my attention elsewhere. It's a choice. Well my pledge is to always try to focus on the good in everyone and everything around me as much as possible.
That's my choice, and I choose to share it with as many people as I can. A smile is free, after all.
So join me, won't you in focusing on the good?
and who doesn't need their day brightened?
