[8/31/19] The McLaren F1 is pretty old, like over 25 years old old, but still it continues to make headlines even in 2019! This F1 is special as it was completely restored by MSO in a new program they are offering! This F1 also used to be a LeMans GTR LongTail and carries the chassis number #63 ! How insane of a restoration you may ask? Well MSO took an insane 18 months… yes nearly 2 years restoring this beast. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🏁 @Allcarnews Spec Sheet: Even the BMW sourced 6.1L V12 got a total rebuild as MSO wanted to make sure it still could make 618HP and was capable of hitting that 243MPH TopSpeed. 🏁 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
For the rest of the car, MSO went to insane depths of detail, removing the entire body and make sure every panel was up to spec while repainting them all in Magnesium Silver taking 900hrs alone. Then the team removed the drive train and then retrimmed the entire interior in Woking Gray leather and alcantara. Once piecing it back together, the team road and track tested the F1 and every MSO restored F1 gets a special certificates of authenticity…
