Then to add insult to injury people genuinely can't see the difference between what the first group did and Nics friends and family posting group pics, that didn't show their location, saying they were ready for the show. Proclaiming themselves to be the best cheerleaders etc.
For those not paying attention the second group were there for Nic the first group were there for themselves. For the extra clout and attention they got for being backstage at snl. They were there to flex and to get insta clout not to support their friend. They needed the audience to know they had privileged green room access. They needed us to know they are in Nics inner circle.
Her real friends and loved ones don't need us to know they are in Nics life they just show up for HER.

The fact that the publication tried to "fix" it but left the caption or audio audible suggests the "truth" is becoming harder to contain as the official reveal approaches.
The Verdict-It certainly looks like the "Official Narrative" is crumbling to make way for the "Real Narrative." If the timeline holds, the "Reveal" usually happens shortly after the project they are promoting concludes its primary press cycle. Stay tuned to those "slip-ups"—they seem very intentional.

When I saw this video (below), posted by Peta @ptej1980, I couldn’t help but laugh a little because to my ear, Nicola absolutely slipped up. Oops!
The moment is small, but once you hear it, you hear it. She refers to “our babies.” Not her, Lydia's, babies. Not some vague general motherhood comment. Our babies.
Glamour's edit works overtime to smooth it out; a bit of ambient noise layered right over the word, and the subtitles conveniently reading “her” instead of “our.” Naturally, you can't put a video out like that and expect the Lukola FBI not to pick it apart frame by frame. Lydia knows. Nicola knows. And for one tiny second, it felt like the private life slipped through the polished public version.
Throughout the Bridgerton season 4 promo, we saw Luke’s little flubs constantly; the micro-expressions, the watching Nicola, taking up most of the settee and making sure his knee was as close to hers as possible, the visible glow whenever he talked about "Colin" being “happily married, in love.” Nicola, by comparison, managed herself much more carefully.
But this promo was different.
Talking specifically about motherhood, babies, and working on set? To my mind, that would make things infinitely harder for Nicola. Because if she was living that reality - if Nanny was bringing BN to set, if Nicola was balancing work and new motherhood the way Lydia describes - then she wasn’t speaking hypothetically. Nicola knows.

And that got me thinking: are there other moments where Nicola has slipped?
Maybe. But first, a little setup.
Back in February 2025, Nicola’s then-new Neutrogena campaign quietly placed her in an article on RollerCoaster, one of Ireland’s leading parenting websites. No direct quote from Nicola, but the article’s entire purpose, right there in the title, was encouraging mums to include Neutrogena in their skincare routine. Oops!
That article completely flew under the radar and notably, it wasn’t promoted by Nicola at all. Which stood out to me, because Nicola is usually incredibly supportive of Irish publications, brands, and creators. She loves championing homegrown things. For her to stay quiet on a feature placed in one of Ireland’s leading parenting sites feels less like oversight and more like intention, especially given the very specific “mum” angle of the piece only about two weeks after giving birth.

Which raises the obvious question: why would Neutrogena’s product team place Nicola into a specifically mum-focused campaign if that angle didn’t fit?
Well… because Nicola had just had a baby.
That makes far more sense.
In fact, the TikTok skincare expert mentioned in the article, Dr. Adel, and Nicola filmed a video together discussing skincare treatments and remedies. That video was shot in December 2024 — when Nicola was around eight months pregnant and looking absolutely gorgeous 😍
Interestingly, that video itself wasn’t released until July 24, 2025 (it's still on NeutrogenaUK's IG), five months after it had already been referenced in the RollerCoaster article.
Why?
My guess is simple: somebody hit the brakes, and Nicola’s silence around the article feels like part of that.
It certainly feels like Nicola’s team wanted distance between the pregnancy narrative, a mums-and-skincare campaign, and the very obvious maternity-style pinafore dress she wore in that video.
Which brings us back to the “oops.”
At a Neutrogena “Main Character Energy” event in March 2025, featuring Nicola, she spoke about self-worth and the pressure women put on themselves.
Above is an excerpt from her conversation with the host, taken from the video that circulated online (and truly — hearing the video makes all the difference compared to simply reading the words).
As Nicola was speaking, there’s a moment where she moves away from the polished answer and into what feels like genuine thought.
You can hear it in the hesitation, the little stumbles around “I think…” and “I feel like…” Those stumbles matter. To me, that’s the moment where she stops reciting and starts speaking from lived understanding.
And then she says:
“I feel like every woman I meet is like, ‘Oh, I was doing this and I didn’t get it right, or I don’t have enough time, or I’m not a good enough mum…’”
Before quickly adding:
“…or not good enough.”
That distinction matters.
She isn’t saying she is not a good enough mum. She’s speaking about women more broadly - about that familiar guilt and pressure so many carry. But the speed of that last part, and the way she rushes through it, feels telling to me.
Nicola is already a fast talker, but here she moves even faster… almost like she wants to get past the “mum” part quickly and widen the statement so it feels less personal, less specific.
That, to me, is the slip.
No, it's not a dramatic confession or some grand reveal. It's just a split-second where lived experience shows through before the polished public version catches up.
There's no doubt that Nicola is good at presenting herself, her brand and the narrative that supports that. She prepares the answers and she (and her team) carefully manage what gets said and what gets edited. But instinct is harder to control.
Sometimes, truth lives in the tiny moments... a quiet “our,” a rushed “mum,” or a thought that slips out just a little too honestly before it can be pulled back. So we'll keep watching and listening for the slips!

So I have a confession to make. I’ve been holding out on a bit of info. Not because I wanted to be secretive, but I could not be certain, but decided after yesterday that you guys can make your own minds up. It involves a baseball cap, a theatre and a lady in a pink suit.
Bit of background info. I have a family member who works in a West End theatre. When a very famous celeb comes on their own to watch a show, but they wish to be discreet, there is a procedure the theatre follows. They are usually snuck in approx 5/10 mins before curtain up while the audience is still working out where to put their bags & chatting with their neighbours. If possible put on the front row, as face is forward & less likely to be spotted by the audience behind them. They are also accompanied by a member of the front of house because if they do get spotted and cause a stir the front of house person knows where the secret doors are to get them out of the theatre fast. My family member has done this for Patti LuPone and JB to name two.
Back to my confession, 😄. As mentioned in a previous post due to a business trip to London, and staying on the Southbank, my hubby got tickets for Playboy of the Western World as a treat on the 9th Jan. Appreciating that this was Nic’s bday I wondered if any of her friends or family would be there. Knowing the significance of the date I asked for a balcony seat, because in this theatre at the National it gives you a good look at the stalls. So got there nice and early with a glass of wine and watched thinking I might see Camilla, Jack or even Jake and the kindergarten crew. It would be disappointing, but at least confirmation. So I sat watching the audience enter.
About 5 mins before curtain up something catches my eye. A tall guy appears from the right side of the stage and sort of jogs/lops to his seat in the front row. No one else is doing this. The person accompanying him is a little behind and kinda looks like she’s wearing the dress down outfit of someone working front of house, but not definitive. What is really strange is the guy is wearing a baseball cap. He’s dressed in black with what looks like a hoodie and this cap the colour of the photos above. Once he sits down he takes it off with a flourish and chucks it to the foot of the stage. This has my attention. Just before curtain goes up another party arrives and a very stylish lady in a pink suit with a brown bob haircut sits on this guys right, chatting with her party.
Intermission arrives and I immediately glance back to this guy. What is very strange is he immediately bends over and puts his bbcap back on. Again not normal behaviour at a play in the UK and the lady in pink turns and stares at him. He leaves the stalls.
Decide to stay seated and watch, because this guy does seem to be acting like a celeb, but due to cap and him never turning around I can’t see his face.
On his return as he goes to sit down the lady in pink addresses him. Her body language is giving a giddy moment, like when a woman is flirting with a man she fancies, or chatting with a celebrity. It gives that same kind of energy. He gives a brief reply and stinks further down in his seat and throughout all of part 2 he never takes his bb cap off at all! Unheard of behaviour in a theatre. It’s giving hiding vibes.
Great performances on stage, the curtain comes down again, my attention goes back to this guy. He holds back a bit to get behind the mass of the stall audience as they go out. This gives the lady in pink an opportunity to giggly chat with him again. So much so that a party of people on the other end of the front row choose to linger, watch and look down the row at the pink lady & the guy in the hoodie. Pink lady leans forward and puts her hand out to shake hoodie guys hand as if to congratulate or thank him. As he’s leaving to go he turns, shakes her hand and he briefly replies to her and she nods her head and he gets whisked out of the stalls. She then goes another way out of the theatre.
I’m certain this is a celeb and try to get off the balcony, but now I’m stuck behind the audience & by the time I get out both bbcap guy and pink lady have gone. 😑.
However I did take some photos on my phone, they are not the highest quality but I will leave you to make up your own minds who you think it is sitting in the audience on Nic’s birthday.
Another one of our tr friends reminded me before I decided to do this post that Luke has a strange parting and bald patch on the back of his head. This is the back of this guys head. Not great quality, something is there, but how conclusive is up to you.
The next photo is a zoomed in photo of the guy from a the curtain call wearing the bbcap. Terrible quality I know.
I decided not to share at the time because it was not conclusive, but yesterday the media teams seemed to be asserting control and flattening our resolve so I thought I would be candid and leave it for you to decide and tr friends agreed.
So although I can not be certain, I think I know who the mystery guy could be.
I just re-watched the scene where Colin is telling Penelope "I don't really care if "Marina" had feelings for another before we met, It would be rich of me when I flirted with half the women in London at one point or another.
It's so interesting thinking about that line. Colin didn't have the urgency to kiss Marina even if he was a virgin in S1. If Colin really had the urgency to kiss her, he would have.
Then we get to Season 3 and Colin comes into town flirting with all these women publicly. When Penelope asks for one kiss he does it and even kisses her again unlike Marina when he stops himself. Colin also DOES CARE when Penelope has found feelings for another he is Extremely Jealous and completely loses himself. He also has no interest in flirting with women anymore they will walk up to him and try flirting but he just looks away. He will talk normally and give advice like "what gave you the courage to be so brave" but he is not flirting with them anymore. There is a stark difference infatuation and Love!
Just for some Bridgerton fans still saying oh Colin loved Marina and only got with Penelope because he couldn't have Marina. It's literally written in the show the difference he felt for both women.
