I've been enjoying actually playing the game recently and I've developed a little project where I'm turning Newcrest into a mini-London. So this is a snapshot of Kensington so far, with a small high street lot and a Natural History museum next to it.

In fact, the larger project is turning most of the worlds in UK-based towns, with the exception of worlds like Selvadorada, Mt Komorebi, Tartose, Sulani and others that are obviously based elsewhere.

Newcrest is my first stop and I've already developed one neighbourhood into a Holland Park-inspired street.

Apologies for the very English-inspired weather! 😂However this particular street contains 12 residential rentals, 1 larger house and 1 small park. The rentals are actually two 'houses' on the same lot and each house is split into 2, two-story flats. So there are 4 units on each lot and I repeated the buildings onto 2 more lots, thus giving me 12 units in all.

While his brother's off getting into trouble, Brantly's having his first kiss with Morgan Fyres! They've hit it off well and have made their relationship official already.

Brantly doesn't mess around!

Neal seems to have a need to rebel against authority and had some fun pranking the whiteboard. Sadly for him, he got caught and landed in detention. He seemed fairly pleased with himself.

So just to add to the teenage angst, I added the Peterson family to the save. Neal and Brantly are twins and have both joined Copperdale Senior School together.

So far, in spite of their very different personalities, they seem to get on well.

There's nothing like a little teenage angst to liven a test game up. Lori's developed a romantic interest in (and a crush on) Malcolm Landgraab! It all started when he invited her to a party with club friends to the Bluffs...which seemed to be a bluff in itself because Malcolm was the only one there!

After playing around in the water and warming each other up (it was a chilly night!), both Lori and Malcolm had their first kiss at school the next day!

(I missed the photo opportunity but right after their first kiss, Lori asked Malcolm about Woohoo and he mocked her for knowing NOTHING about Woohoo at her age. So Lori now feels hurt by Malcolm's mocking laughter and it's another example of my own damn mods biting me in the butt, LOL!)

Lori's first week at her new school's going well. It looks like she and Malcolm Landgraab are the new students meeting with the headmistress for the first time (in my mind, Nancy and Geoffrey had him in private school until his results got so bad he was removed. Now he's at the ordinary comprehensive with everyone else!).

The exercise facilities are excellent but unfortunately, Lori managed to get on the wrong side of her teacher. First, she plagiarized a poem and was given detention. Then in detention, she pranked the whiteboard.

So I don't think her teacher likes her very much!

Still in my test game but working with the Keyes family now. For those not familiar, this family was uploaded by Maxis to the gallery when Parenthood was released and they featured in the trailers.

This time, they had a lovely day out at the San Sequoia Recreation Centre (another SimCubeez build!). Abbey made a friend in the form of Olive Tinker, Karlie and Lori spent some time bonding over crafting and Jaylen honed his dad-dancing skills in the gym.

And little Aria sat in a froggy chair, watching the world go by.

Bob and Eliza have just had their second son, Fabian. So after a failed attempt at getting Iggy to bond with his new brother, Bob took his eldest son out to the water park to have some fun.

So this is just a side blog I've had for a while and never done anything with, which will contain snippets of gameplay. Will this be a legacy? Probably not. Who knows? It's more likely a random mash up of gameplay with some vague idea attached to it!
