I think the case with jimin and jungkook is that if you as the only other person with them don’t make an active effort into inserting yourself into the conversation, they’re the kind to get really absorbed into each other and unintentionally form their own bubble leaving the third person out. Jimin talking about how him and jk unintentionally left yoongi behind while drinking together because they were too absorbed in their own conversation is what leads me to believe this.

This is what I saw in the bbq scene with taehyung and i could tell that he had no interest in really inserting himself into the conversation hence him being on his phone the whole time, but when the same thing happened when they were on the boat and playing around with sunscreen jikook were starting to lowkey get into their own bubble again but taehyung had an interest this time and made himself an active participant by teasing jimin for cowering from jk.

Yeah, that makes sense.

Also, when I said in my earlier post about TH looked out of place, in my mind I had thought of it in a general sense and also as a means of supporting the idea that there was never any intention to invite guests for AYS from the beginning. JM and JK tend to naturally form their own bubble like you said and the travel show was one of the ways for them to enjoy their time together, just the two of them in their own bubble, and be safe while doing it in different places (since they have the production team with them).

There had been so many examples of these times when they'd do something together in the presence of other members and leave the others wondering what the heck they're doing. Just to point out a few:

- that time with NJ during their photoshoot, when KM were pinching each other

- the Haikyuu reference when HS was next to them during the table tennis Run BTS episode

- the YG reference you just mentioned

- the antics they do together in the background in some of the behind-the-scenes videos we see from time to time (including that time JM jumped on JK's arms in front of Lee Hyun hahahaha)

These two are so naturally attuned to each other and that you'll need to make an effort to break in. Hahahaha

do you think TH knew about their plans to enlist together? It seems his reaction really was cut because then instantly after JM mentions it to TH, it cuts straight to JK talking about what Jin had told them.

It's hard to be definite about it. On the one side, I'd like to think JM, at least, told all the members about it before this trip. On the other, considering that he had to mention it before talking about what it might be like for them while serving makes me think that it's possible that not all of them knew about it.

Honestly, though, I'm more inclined that it's the former. It's hard to imagine that something important as JM and JK enlisting wasn't a common group knowledge or even a management information, as well. Even their Jeju trip schedule was common knowledge, which was how TH knew about it and insisted to go, as well.

That k-bbq scene in one of the Jeju episodes, wherein they were talking about how their possible MS experience, keeps popping up on my feed lately. Everytime I see it, the first thing that pops into my mind is how TH looked so out of place in that moment.

Seeing JK shirtless for a good several minutes in an AYS Sapporo episode is the one thing I did not anticipate at all. Who would expect to see him like that in episodes wherein they're supposed to be in an area where it's snowing?!! Nobody would! OTL

When JK forgets about being recorded or when he's outside a commonly Korean environment, he naturally speaks casually with JM. 🥰🥰🥰

Some KMers are so annoying sometimes (a lot of them are on twitter). They'd be pointing out something ridiculously trivial that would've had absolutely no real impact in any argument.

"Did you notice that <random minor edit/cut>?"

"It looks like JK was this and that to JM.."

"Did JK (or JM) just do this and that to JM (or JK)?"

No, that's your obsession and delulu kicking in. Sure, the cultists have way worse since they don't have much to work with from the start, but some KMers are way too paranoid that they sometimes start acting like them. Sigh.

One thing I have noticed and am beginning to really love about Jimin and Jungkook's dynamic is how Jimin creates scenarios and Jungkook is so quick to play along. It happened in Ep. 2 and here they are again doing it in Ep. 3.

JK really learnt the "yes and...." lesson of improv.

I thought the same that tae asked jk to come to click pictures cause as soon as he layed down tae pulled jk's head on his shoulder and the mob was right in front of their face nd it literally looks like they're posing for a selca and jk wakes up immediately. Or maybe jk just wanted to Lay down beside V as there's nothing much to do.

My bet is 100% on the former.

It was just another run bts episode. jkk barely had any moments together. Everything they had included v. So disappointed.

It's even sadder to think of it as another Run, BTS! episode because then it's one without the hyung line, and I'm not fond of that train of thought. Hahahaha

Oh, they can enjoy the "cuddle" moment all they want. Good for those cultists. TH obviously called him there to take pictures together because that's exactly what they did the moment JK lied down and then left right after. TH even had to pull JK's head closer and only his head moved closer. The way JK got into position reminds me of how a person would usually move when they're asked to do it to take pictures together (careful and systematic). That's hardly what I would consider a cuddle. If you want to see what a cuddle looks like, watch In The Soop or AYS' 2nd episode. Hahahaha

Don't like it either BUT that's not a personal vacation. They are recording a SHOW, and Tae being around Jeju at the same time wanted to be there. Annoying, yes? But it's not like he's crashing some romantic vacation

It was supposed to be a personal vacation that the company decided to help on and turned it into a show so they can also put it out as a (paid) content. Probably also a way to make sure they can both travel safely and without people disturbing them.

Also, I never said it was a romantic vacation. Obviously, it wasn't ever going to be because they knew the staff would be there and that they would be recorded. And yes, he did gatecrash into a pair's vacation -- he invited himself into it, not them. JK twice showed us in this episode that there wasn't supposed to be any guests.

Are You Sure? is JM and JK's travel show and it's supposed to show and focus on their dynamics as they travel. I never expected for there to be romantic moments, but I would've preferred that the vibes episodes 1 and 2 gave would be maintained throughout the whole show. Obviously, that's not possible for the Jeju Island episodes because, as I said, they both make adjustments to accommodate TH's presence (especially JM). Take for example, this episode -- scenes are mostly JM x TH, JK x TH, JM x JK x TH interactions and hardly the kind of JM x JK moments we had from the first 2 episodes. In the wall climbing centre and kart ride, we would've seen a lot of moments wherein JM and JK compete with each other and doing those climbs side by side -- that's what you would expect for episodes of a show that's supposed to be for and about them.

But it is what it is, and it's not like I hated it. I still enjoyed it, but less than how much I would've enjoyed it if it was just the two of them because I absolutely love JM and JK's dynamics a lot -- it's fun in a homely kind of way. That's regardless of who the guest was (obviously, the hyung line wouldn't have done what TH did, anyway).

The dynamics really change when TH joins them. JM ends up having to take care of TH (because he tends to act like a baby around them) so most of JM's time and attention goes to TH. JK, then, either ends up just enjoying his time by himself or also have to accommodate TH when TH goes to him. That's probably why JK had this vibe that seemed like he would've preferred that TH didn't join them because he knew that's what was bound to happen the whole time.

That's why unless it's a group vacation to begin with, you're not supposed to go with the couple when they decide to travel, even if you're their bestest friend. You will force them to adjust their time and attention just so you won't feel left out during the trip. You're supposed to be thoughtful enough to think of it yourself.

It’s kinda funny that all the attention seeking behavior that solos and tkkrs accuse Jimin of doing, are actual things that Tae does. Like I remember when Jimin when to support Hobi for hobipalooza, people were preemptively angry at Jimin because they thought he was going to jump on stage and steal Hobi’s moment, but of course that didn’t happen. Instead, that exact thing was done by Tae to JK. Imagine if Jimin had invited himself to tkk show saying he can’t let them go to Jeju alone.

I think the episode will be illuminating in some ways and at the end of day Tae was dating Jennie anyway, but he’s literally the worst possible person to be on the show.

Oh, yeah! I've completely forgotten include that Suchwita episode in my previous ask answer.

Mind you, I don't necessarily think he does it with malicious intent. It just comes off as thoughtless and insensitive to me for him to keep doing things like that.

All jkkrs see it, they know v being there is a jerk move, but they won't admit it because they like to keep that good ot7 shippers facade

I do love OT7. I want them to be together for a long time as BTS. But even within a group of friends, there's always going to be a sub group of people who wants to enjoy their time together away from the rest, and this time should be respected and not getting disturbed just because another member feels like doing so.

This kind of invasive characteristic of TH has always rubbed me the wrong way until now. It's not something he's done only once or twice but several times already.

- the Osaka live

- the Thailand live (wherein JK wanted JM to come back, but obviously not everyone else judging from his reaction when TH joined them)

- that time JM and TH went on live and TH said they're coming to JK's place (based on what happened, it was TH's idea and JM advised against it)

- TH switching cars with JK after the schedule (so TH and JM can ride on the same one together)

- that time in In The Soop when he pestered (for lack of better term at the moment) JK to cook him food when JK didn't seem to be in the mood to do it

- kissing SJ out of nowhere during that one Run, BTS! episode

To me, he seems to have a knack for creating undesirable awkward situations -- like that time he pulled the chair that JM was going to sit on (which could've been dangerous had JM not possess an extraordinarily peachy ass) or when he complained about SJ not moving fast enough during a part in the Spring Day choreo and for some reason ended up crying when SJ defended himself (which, of course, later on was revealed through a BangtanTV video to be unwarranted because SJ was indeed already moving as fast as he could) -- but whether he does it on purpose or not is up for debate.

That's probably why he seems to enjoy the company of the Wooga group a lot -- he's the maknae and they probably let him be with his shenanigans most of the time, so he gets to play their precious baby.

I said way more than I had initially thought of saying in my reply, but I guess this is me finally letting some long held frustrations about this specific aspect of him. Sigh.

He had no business being there (and if some people's theory is true, he was already in the company of another group while in the island). He knew that was his friends' personal vacation together and he forced himself in it just because they're friends. I don't like that vibe at all. I hate it even more when I think about how his presence his going to feed the delusions of those toxic cultists yet again and direct hate at JM for no valid reason. It's giving me war flashbacks to that time he disturbed JK and JM's private time together in Osaka during HIS live. It's friggin' annoying, to be honest.
