So the prompt was 10 seconds, 10 days, 10 months, 10 years... and could be with wolfstar, blackinnon, marauders gen or sirius & regulus. I thought it would be interesting to do a piece that sort of teases at their relationship and how it's developed over a decade.
I'm usually all over color but I haven't been posting a lot tbh because I've been practicing to become a tattoo artist and I've been doing a lot of traditional linework. I wanted to explore digital b/w linework so wallah!!! this piece!
I'm not the happiest with it but I really did enjoy making it and it allowed me to explore a different form of digital art than my usual style.
Since many of you actually replied yes to the poll, I think I'll bite the bullet earlier and expedite things for the gift exchange!
For those of you who don’t know what a gift exchange is, well it’s basically a Secret Santa where you sent a prompt and someone in the fandom will reply with something (a drabble, micro fic, a drawing, edit, moodboard, etc.) by December 28th, just to make the end of the year a bit more cheerful.
To participate you just have to fill this form by November 29th.
A few guidelines (this is long but necessary but I'll put it under the cut):
This is a fun event, for everyone involved. Please keep in mind this if you decide to participate, if you want to join the fun but can't make a gift that's okay too! Sharing is caring so share the event and the works, and of course like/comment/etc!
Respect each other. This is a hard rule, if you start bashing anyone for their preferences you will be taken out from the list. It is important to know that we have differences but that doesn't mean we need to spread hate around our fun groups.
Ship and let ship. There is a space for everyone, and we will try to make it so, there are a lot of Jily shippers in my mutuals, but if this spread to other ships and part of the fandom this will be welcomed, and respected, even if we all agree to disagree.
Communicate. If you have any issues whatsoever with the timeframes, the prompts, etc, please communicate. We want everyone to have a gift by the end of the year. If you can not make it, or need more time, or whatever it is, we will understand, we have backup creators in case something happens.
All creations should be posted on December 28th. Extensions can be granted if informed.
Other things:
The non sensitive information will be shared in a general document, this way if anyone loses their prompt they can go back and check it there.
We’ll have a general list of triggers. We send all the triggers to the Gift Givers so they know not to put things in their works. However, if you prefer to be anonymous about it we will just add the triggers to a full list that the creators need to mind not to us.
The date of publishing is December 28th, your timezone. This is so we all get surprised by the same date.
Tumblr: You can draft the post or add it to the queue if you finish it earlier. Or you can submit it to me and I’ll post it at the proper time.
AO3: there will be a hidden collection in AO3 that will reveal itself at Dec 28th so you can publish there and no one would see the work until then.
FF.net: There is no queueing in that site, you can draft and publish on that date.
None of the above: You can submit it to me and I’ll post it at the proper time.

I joined the Marauders fandom when I was 12/13 - originally by lurking and then eventually by fanfic creation myself. Back in the day, Jily was such of a commonplace ship!! When I was 17ish? I started getting into art, and I created some very rough Marauders fanart because I was very immersed in the world & fandom.
Unfortunately, during the big bad Corona, I started to fall out of love with the Marauders fandom due to all the controversies within it - and the rise of certain ships I personally disagreed with. I felt like I had to conform to the new look of Marauders content or cease creation. (This wasn't ACTUALLY the case, I just didn't have the headspace and growth mindset at the time to realize that inherently other creators or myself are doing nothing wrong by simply just doing what they love.)
I've always wanted to create a blog specifically for the Marauders, but I felt as though I missed the "prime". I've since realized that is not true!! The Marauders are an incredibly fan-nurtured niche in the canon Harry Potter fandom! The fans keep it alive by breathing new life into it.
So, I decided with this blog, I would create a space where I felt comfortable to share the part of the Marauders that *I* personally originally fell in love with. That's what I think is the beauty of this fandom- at its core - we all share these characters and nobody has the right to make anyone feel unwelcomed in it!
Personally, one of the things I love about the Marauders is Jily! It's been a dream come true to see that there are such supportive and kind people in this fandom - like yourself - who support new creators even though the content may not be as popular as it once was.
So, really from the bottom of my heart, thank *you* for taking the time to send this in my ask box! And thank you for bearing with my needlessly long post lol
