Dad had a heart surgery today. He made it through and seems like he’s doing well, from what the nurses tell me. I can breathe finally. Been on pins and needles for weeks now. Thank you so much to everyone for the well wishes and thoughts and texts and calls and DMs. I seriously, seriously appreciate it. Now to find a rehabilitation and physical therapy facility that will take care of mom and dad while they recover, and let them be together. Dad got rushed to the emergency room this morning. Turns out he has pneumonia. Turns out I have pneumonia. So now, dad in the ER with pneumonia. Mom in the nursing home.
