Khirael: Thank you. It’s not the first time I’ve heard that, or that one of my brothers has. And you’re not the first person on the ship to tell me that, either. A few officers have said the same thing to me. But I don’t understand why. He pauses briefly and raises his voice. Don’t go thinking we Blood Angels are vain!

Livia: I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to offend you.

Khirael: No, you didn’t… I… we Astartes aren’t used to talking to humans who aren’t Astartes. Is there anything else you want to talk about? Because I can feel your Master of Whispers staring at me. He says it loud enough for Heinrix to hear.

Heinrix: I’m just doing my job.

Khirael lets out a dismissive sound and gives Heinrix an annoyed look.

"Send him to me...", Livia orders calmly.

Later....

Livia is looking at her letters as the Astartes approaches. She doesn’t look up as she speaks: "It’s claimed that you were on the lower decks with the workers..." Livia looks up.

The Blood Angel seems a bit nervous and has blood smeared across his face like a child just learning to eat properly.

"I can explain that.", the Angel replies.

I don't really understand the question; my translator isn't translating it correctly. I'll just skip it. 🤷🏻‍♀️

She’s not a virgin. When Livia wants to have some fun, she has some fun. I imagine Heinrix is more of a cuddler, while things get a little wilder in bed with Solomorne. And depending on her mood, she’ll invite one of them into her bed, and if both of them get on her nerves too much, she meditates with Yrliet.

What’s your OC’s “I shouldn’t be turned on by this” trigger?

Livia loves fire and everything related to it. When Solomorne uses his shotgun—especially when he blows something up. It’s different with Heinrix. When the situation is serious—and she should actually be taking it seriously—she just can’t manage it, especially when Heinrix has that serious look on his face.

What’s your OC’s hard NO?

It's simple. Violence—like hitting, choking, that sort of thing. A slap on the butt is okay, or if things get a little wild in bed

Okay, cool. In Space Marine 2, there are two Tech-Priests who talk about how they don't understand why the Astartes prefer to talk to regular servants rather than Servitors, because the Servitors would do their jobs much better.

Maybe the Astartes are more human than you'd think, or maybe the Servitors aren't as good as the Tech-Priests think they are...

But no one in the squad is an Ultramarine. One is an Iron Hand, one is from the Raven Guard, and the other is something else—probably a heretic 🤣🤣
