█ ❖—; Watching the other Mord’Sith with something close to irritation blossoming on her features, Cara exhaled slowly, sharply through her nose before dropping the pile of woof that had been in her arms upon the ground with a loud -{ B A N G }-, drawing the attention of the others in the camp. But Cara didn’t care; having Denna here put her on edge, made her slightly uneasy, not that she was ever going to admit that to anybody. But the feeling was still there, lingering in the back of her mind. She didn’t trust Denna, at all. It didn’t matter to her that Richard thought it was a good idea to let her tag along— daggers were sent in the womans direction until night began to fall. Sleep with one eye open, Denna. Least you not wake up in the morning.
It took her only minutes to decide that she was going to make sure she wasn’t the one to end up with a knife in the back— silent footsteps carried her to where Denna rested, as alert as the other. Cara knew she had two choices here; one, go big or go home in attacking Denna. Or the other option, which wouldn’t see her outed from the group, simply make it clear to the woman, using words, that if anything happened to Richard, or even Kahlan and Zed, then there was no question that the other blonde would find herself missing some limbs. Important ones.
Going to her knees before the Mord’Sith, Cara wasted no time in wrapping a hand around her neck, wrenching her closer. Silence fell, Cara felt no need to say anything yet, but she was sure her actions spoke volumes for her. But the time passed, and eventually Cara got up in Dennas face, voice a low hiss.
”I don’t know what you think you’re going to gain from acting as though Richards well-being is your priority,
but if I catch so much as a whiff that you plan on betraying him, I will e n d you.
Are we understood?”
Hand falling from Dennas neck, Cara rocked back onto her heels, letting what she had said sink in before standing up, looking down at the other Mord’Sith with annoyance writ upon sharp features.
-{ I want you gone.}-
The words went without needing to be said, coming across easily on Caras face as she continued to watch the other woman, waiting for her reaction to what had just transpired.
