43: Caisael would be EXTREMELY ANNOYED and try to figure out who did this without actually removing the coin from her head. She’d wait until she either found who did it or when it got really annoying, then she’d use the coin to throw at whoever did it.

I read "alternate timeline" for Elias somewhere can you tell us more :D ?

OH this was on twitter bc i was going through old notes i had for characters.

Elias is indeed from an alternate timeline! They’re a chronomancer from a possible future that they’re very invested in seeing happen again. Sort of like Rip Hunter, except not in a very..good way. Their future isn’t exactly the best, but it’s not the worst. 

I’m going to put this under cut to be safe bc I usually get carried away and talk too much oops.

Elias comes from a timeline where the dragons aren’t completely defeated but there has been some headway. I don’t know the specifics yet unfortunately, just the stuff in the present that help make it happen in the future. 

What little I have on the alternate timeline says that things are at a stand still in regards to the dragons, but not terribly so. Mordremoth awakened much later than it did in the current timeline (Scarlet didn’t wreck LA in Elias’ timeline), and efforts were actually put towards Jormag instead. Most of the Pact forces are in the Shiverpeaks rather than in Maguuma. 

Elias is somewhat selfish in wanting their timeline to succeed and basically ensure things happen the way they want it to. AGAIN I STILL HAVE A LOT OF THINGS TO WORK ON WITH THIS SO IT IS NO WAY SET IN STONE OR FINISHED. 

The big part of this is that Elias’ timeline is dependent on Sylloqui’s (Mckenna’s rad necromancer sylvari) research into Fractals and entering the Mists succeeds and to do this, they need Nico. 

Elias is part of Sylloqui’s group, which Tadhg (Nico’s past life sort of) was also part of. Tadhg and Elias were friends (Tadhg had a thing for Elias) and then Tadhg died. This was all according to plan, however. Elias knew this would happen bc it happened in their timeline and it was supposed to happen.

In Elias’ timeline, they were also part of Sylloqui’s team and Tadhg died when a Fractal destabilized and collapsed with him still inside. This caused his spirit to be trapped in the Mists and when Nico awoke, he became a Rev through his connection to Tadhg through the dream. Kind of Complicated. Basically, they found Nico when he first awoke and swept him away due to his powers with the Mists and used him to get into the Mists. A bad side effect of this, however, was that when he went into the Mists, Tadhg ended up possessing him and basically turned the connection around. Tadhg assumed Nico’s physical body and Nico took Tadhg’s place as the legend. Sucks for Nico, but works out well for the rest of the team. 

Cross streams to this timeline, Nico awoke sooner than expected and instead of staying in the Grove, left to Hoelbrak where he met Liv, and through Liv became a gladiator, and through becoming a gladiator, met Hagan. Nico isn’t an isolated sapling like he was in Elias’ timeline, but they need Tadhg and Elias isn’t someone who stops half way on a plan, especially one like this.

So they’re dead set on remaking their Timeline, even at the cost of Nico’s life. I can’t say for sure if they’re bad, but they’re not good. They’re an iffy gray zone that’s selfish but also could be trying to work for a greater good, just the greater good THEY see. 

I HOPE THIS IS SUFFICIENT I know it’s not as in depth with the alt timeline but I’m working on that.
