Well shit

So I read the first issue of the IDW reboot and I already had low expectations but damn. The art feels very lifeless and static, it already feels like it’s gonna be a lot of black and white representation of the Decepticons and Autobots, and they kill off a really loved character from the previous series. I get wanting to create something new and all but there’s a reason the previous IDW series was so good and it feels like they’re trashing all that for the sake of presenting something new. Really hope it gets better but as of right now, not super optimistic.
