Offerings for Artemis, the goddess of the hunt, wild animals, and chastity!
1: Cypress, birch, pine, wildflowers, or mugwort because while she is the goddess of wild animals, she is also a nature goddess! You can find these out in the woods or even out in your yard if you’re lucky!
2: Animal bones. Yeah, this can represent wild animals in a way, and since it’s her domain it works as an offering. You can find these in the woods as well.
3: Other things from nature! (Rocks, crystals, dirt, sand, leaves, etc!)
4: Bows. Like Apollo, she is associated with bows and arrows. Do you can offer her some bows or even an arrow that you aren’t using, if you want!
5: Moon images. Oh, did I forget to mention that she is also a goddess of the moon? (Apart from Selene, of course!) you can even give her paintings or drawings of the moon if you can draw
6: Incense. I say this about most of the offerings I post up on here, but it’s because it’s a really good offering! Anyway, you can choose frankincense, cypress, or anything woodsy!
7: Tarot cards! Now, I don’t actually own tarot cards (strict parents, ugh) but you can offer her ‘the high priestess’, ‘temperance’, or ‘The Moon.’
8: Water, almonds, red wine, walnuts, olive oil, or fruit. These can work as food offerings, and they are usually found in households, so you should already have them <3
9: A candle. If you don’t have incense (like me! I’ve been too lazy to ask my parents for some) if you have any woodsy candles around your house, you can use those instead! I recommend adorning it with pine needles, silver flakes, clear quarts, and cypress leaves.
10: Speaking of silver, you can offer silver to Artemis! Since her brother, Apollo, takes gold offerings, she takes silver. Own some silver ring that you don’t feel like wearing anymore? (Honestly same) offer it to Artemis!
1: Spend time in nature! Whether you wanna go on a hike or just walk in nature barefoot (just please be careful!)
2: spend time with and care for animals!
3: Go stargazing or learn about constellations in her honor
4: Learn about and support feminism (I mean, the hunters of Artemis are literally all girls, soooo..) (PS: feminism does NOT = misandry, people!)
5: wear jasmine oils and perfume! I highly recommend Jasmine.
6: practice archery! Now, I’m not saying you have to join the hunt, but there’s no harm in learning archery for her!
7: Pray to her! There are LOADS of prayers for Artemis on Pinterest so you can use those! Or you can even make up your own prayer, as long as you know what you’re doing!
