WALKS AROUND IN ASAHI'S SHIRT

           planning was difficult between the two of them , with Nishinoyas’ university schedule and Asahis’ own work and daily life , but they manged . and as brown eyes watched the smaller walk around , the older male still settled in the bed , Asahi found himself thankful for the little extra work it took for him to be allowed this view .                Even if NIshinoya was a natural morning person , and it prevented the usually hard to rise Asahi from catching a few more hours of peaceful slumber .

             The warmth of Asahi’s hand in his own is soothing, a form of comfort that he’s needed since the accident even if he’s avoided the older boy. Some misguided attempt at licking his own wounds for a while, although he knows that things would have been easier with the spiker there. 

            Now, as Asashi presses closer to him than he might normally, he doesn’t complain. And he leans just slightly into him as they walk, free hand hanging awkwardly heavy at his side now. It hurts to leave it hanging there, all the blood settling in his hand making the soreness more prominent, but he would rather hide it against his side than tuck it to his chest where he’s forced to see it. 

            He almost doesn’t hear when Asahi speaks, wrapped up in his own thoughts. But he glances over from the corner of his eye and shakes his head after a moment. He doesn’t eat much normally, and as melodramatic as he feels to admit it, he doesn’t have much of an appetite right now. Although he knows if he admits how little he’s eaten that Asahi would simply worry. ❛ No thanks, I’m not hungry. ❜

           Kei looks distant , Asahi notices , trying his best to keep his eyes of of the others form . he knows his boyfriend by now , at least he would like to think so , and he knew the first year wouldn’t like to have so much focus on him . Kei wasn’t weak , and the last thing the male wanted was to make his boyfriend feel like he was .                     so he let him manage on his own , easily walking along side him , nodding at the answer . he wouldn’t push , deciding it best to just let it go . 

      “ alright .”                       he was sure they could find something else to do , the television was still set up and their stack of movies was still out and ready to watch , Asahi was sure that surely there was something in there that could help pass time . or even simply just being in his room .  he wasn’t entirely sure what they would do , but he wanted to do something to hopefully cheer the injured teen up .

              the walk wasn’t long , the seventeen year old keeping in tune with the others steps , his hand lightly squeezing the others in silent reassurance . it wasn’t until they reached his door that he released the others hand , digging into his pocket and finding his key .                     unlocking his door , he opened it before stepping out of the way , giving room for the other to pass .

            Finally things were moving forward. Kei certainly appreciates how good Asahi is about everything, how he always makes sure that things are comfortable and they’re both sure before things progress. But when Kei WAS sure it could get frustrating. He was learning how to keep it from stalling them out though, and it takes him less time to convince the older now. 

            He’s settled firmly in Asahi’s lap at this point, chest pressing against him as he curls one hand through Asahi’s hair, the other gripping the sleeve of his shirt tightly. so it didn’t take much moving on Asahi’s part for their hips to meet. 

            A soft sigh escapes him as he presses down to meet Asahi, fingers tugging just lightly in his hair as his brows furrow, already slipping into his usual state of concentration, a habit that he finds hard to break even if these actions are feeling more and more FAMILIAR with time and practice. Already that familiar warmth is settling in his gut as he kisses Asahi, lips parting as he deepens it with a soft sigh.
