I don't know who needs to hear this but you don't need to expose every single facet of yourself online. There is no inherent requirement for you to be 100% transparent about your personal life and yourself in your online presence. Your online persona is a curtain, and it can be as thin or as thick as you're comfortable with. You can share your chosen name and leave it at that, and there's nothing wrong with that. Don't let people bully you into thinking you need to share all your intimate details, wants, needs, diagnoses, because you don't. There is no bare minimum, you can share nothing and that is completely acceptable.

This is your internet stage show and you're in charge of the curtain. Both the material it's made of, and how far up it goes. Remember that.

you all seemed to enjoy my dream story, so here's one about real life, and me as a young child

korean children's science magazines were FUCKED UP!

ik this is weirdly specific but i just remembered the amount of disturbing shit on there and i just had to talk about it

so each volume had comic strips, and they were all ongoing series - most of them had some kind of storyline

but there was one in particular that was so unbelievably insane and im sure some of that shit scarred me for life

dont remember too much about it, but i recall that it was a surrealist slice-of-life type of thing for the most part

but for a few "special edition" volumes of the magazine (im pretty sure those were the ones released in December or something like that, like holiday editions) there was this separate plot that they used that was so fucking insane

all of it was, i'm pretty sure, based on the premise that the main character's mom has literally never shown up despite the dad and the grandmother being recurring characters

so a large chunk of that storyline is set several years in the past, where the main character's mom ends up in a car accident she's fine for the most part, but they have to amputate her arm

so the grandmother (who, by the way, is some kind of scientific genius in the story) makes a cyborg arm it works, and life is fine for a bit but then it turns out that the arm was infected with a virus that causes her to send hate comments online wherever she can, against her own will

and these hate comments are so bad that it makes some big figure online in the story LITERALLY KILL HIMSELF BY JUMPING OFF A BUILDING

and in the story, IT LITERALLY ENDS UP ON NATIONAL NEWS

then the mom disappears or something i dont remember

and can i mention, this entire flashback scene is caused because the main character catches his dad hiding behind parked cars while drinking alcohol, smoking, and crying

HOW THE FUCK WAS THIS ALLOWED?????

and that entire fucking storyline ends with the main character posting something online, and i think either he posted something relating to his mom or his internal monologue has something to do with it, then he gets a hate comment that sends him into this insane rage, and then there's the last line in this entire fucking story: "MOM, YOU PIECE OF SHIT" (obviously not an exact translation, but thats about as similar to what i can remember) (and can i mention that all of the hate comments had something to do with poop for some reason??? like, im pretty sure theres an entire scene where that famous online guy is trying to do relaxation techniques to deal with his anger, but the thought of that hate comment (which, may i mention again, was largely centered around poop) just continually invades his mind and he is sent into this state of just absolute psychological torment over a fecal hate comment)

ok so i had the most fucking insane dream

so i HAVE to talk about it so the earliest thing i can remember from the dream is that there was some game of dodgeball or something happening at school, and one of my classmates was getting scolded for something i'm not sure about then one thing led to another and me and some other ppl ended up in this video game or something (not just playing the video game, more like literally being in the video game), and the goal was basically just to get to a certain point - everything was super grimy and the "graphics" (if you can call it that, since it felt like a real-life situation) looked like something out of the early 2010s, like amnesia: the dark descent, that kind of thing there wasn't even a set path or anything so im not sure how any of us knew where to go - anyway, we entered a subway train, ran through it in the opposite direction it was moving, then somehow ended up in this underground basement kind of thing - not even sure how that happened, since we never even left the train - then we shot and killed some dude holding a gun (it looked like that one from the "it's old, but it still bark!!!" meme) then there was someone saying "why are we killing the enemy?" but i'm not sure whether it was an actual person or internal dialogue after that, we went further and killed an entire group of people - and for some reason, i had some gun with like 3000 ammo (of which 1000 of them were used up within 5 seconds) and for some reason, the people didnt die until the bullets literally disintegrated the entire head area of the people then there were two ways to go - either a stairway going up or a hole in the floor (that led to literally nothing - like going out of bounds in a video game, it was just the sky and nothing else) and i instinctively somehow knew that the stairway would lead to heaven or an afterlife or something, and that if we tried to go up there we wouldn't be able to get there because we would be "judged for our sins" (like killing multiple people) so we went down the hole, and i went first but i stopped just before it could fully go down cause nobody else was following and i was like "what are you waiting for, hurry up" then they went down and i followed (also, people were literally clipping through me to go down the hole so im pretty sure it was meant to be a video game) so then i was literally just falling through the void for a few seconds then i woke up in my bedroom, but something was off the lighting was weak - like it was early in the morning everything was either pink or white and i think the room smelled vaguely of flowers or something as well then i went outside, and my dad was sleeping on the couch in the living room but the living room was also very off, for the same reasons that i mentioned before then i realized that this was my aunt's house (that was what i "realized" in the dream, but it was actually a hybrid of where i currently live + all of my relatives' homes) (these was also something at some point in the dream about me getting to my relatives' house without even remembering because i was so tired, but i'm not even sure where that fits in the dream - all i know was that me and my family somehow travelled thousands of kilometers by car within an evening and i somehow took it as normal) then i actually woke up and it was 11 o clock and a sunday
