This is my Kaigaku design for the fic I finally finished, will the loose haori just be a hassle for him to fight in? No because anime doesn't care about physics. Also, I'm not drawing the triangles </3
The uniform I'm using here is Kanao's and I figured out a way to have the yellow pattern to match with Kaigaku. The ingredients are; Yellow origami, two sided tape, my hopes and dreams.
You gotta press it real hard and pray it sticks to the fabric, if you give up use glue but it'll ruin the fabric..
It occured to me too late that I never posted the final result of my closet cosplay, but here it is, just the clothes.
I'm going to another event tomorrow and I'm soo excited. Something to get my mind off the fact that Ao3 is down for 20 something years.
Also scrap what I said about the pants being unimportant because without it it looks like I'm wearing a dress.
Sandals.

Summary:
To describe the relationship Zenitsu had with his senior, he only had to use one word; dead. They were two different people somehow destined to despise each other. With no way to reunite or bond with one another. For his fellow Thunder breathing user refused to form any meaningful connection between them.
So when his 'brother's' personality had suddenly turned on itself. Zenitsu thinks that his senior had been replaced by a demon. No, he's sure of it.

This is part of my random Au - Everyone Is A Demon Slayer - which speaks for itself, everyone is a demon slayer, including Muzan (He takes the Oyakata-sama role but this isn't a Roleswap.)
It is very rare due to how cooked the character is, but I've managed to cosplay Kaigaku when I watched the movie. I went to a cosplay event a week later and I love all the people who recognised Kaigaku <3
A real set of Kaigaku cosplay is either very expensive or very non-existent. But I know there are Kaigaku lovers out there and here is a tutorial on how I did my cosplay (I think this is called a closet cosplay)
1. The robe of Ichigo- the main character from the anime Bleach. At first, I bought this for the lower half, the belt and the pants to complete my Kokushibou cosplay (I've had his Haori for a long time)
But soon realised that the top part fit Kaigaku's perfectly, especially human Kaigaku
Ichigo's robe had the white part in the middle and on the edges of the sleeves. This sparks my motivation to actually do a Kaigaku cosplay.
How Kaigaku wore it is just the right side under and the left side over. Tie it and then pull up to loosen.
Also in the robe I got there was a black part I could fold in the middle to reveal more of the white.
2. When I ordered the pants from the Ichigo robe, I got 2, the pants fit well (it is hidden by the length of the robe, so maybe it doesn't matter in the first place.)
3. A blue scarf, I think this is easy to find online or offline. I bought a darker colour so I can wear it elsewhere.
I suggest wrapping it twice before you tie it, because it will be the only thing holding the loose robe.
4. The necklace needed improvisation. Because I actually don't know where to get it. But before I even bought the Ichigo robe I bought a Yin and Yang necklace and used the one that resembles Kaigaku's magatama as a collar. Later I used the other part as an extra necklace.
And I was satisfied here that I've already achieved human Kaigaku.
5. Akutagawa (Bungo Stray dogs) wig. He is the one person I know popular enough to have merch and he has a similar hair to Kaigaku.
The white part is cut but leave it until it's just over the chin.
My sister styled it for me
You can dye the white part after you cut it but I didn't have time.
The worse it look the better your Kaigaku cosplay.
6. A demon slayer uniform. I bought Kanao's as an extra so I could cosplay her when the second movie comes out. The top part is the only thing that is needed but unfortunately, we won't get the yellow crescent shapes there.
I have nothing on shoes, because I'm a short person and I wore heels because I want to be taller.
Extras - for Demon Kaigaku
1. Elf ears. His ears are wider rather than longer, but the length is hidden by my hair so if it's not long it's not noticeable.
(This is such a pretty shape lol) I bought both wide and long one. So I've tested.
2. Glue on nails. Because I can't grow pointy nails in a week.
I have no pic with the nails because one, it was hell because I'm not used to it and I'm afraid of it falling off
I do have this pic though.
3. Green eye contact lense. I considered buying this, but if you're not used to it I suggest not, think of your comfort if you're cosplaying to go watch the movie.
4. Fake fangs. Again think about the comfortibility first though.
5. Sword. I bought a friend of mine this for her birthday but we aren't friends anymore and I still have the sword.
It is a retractable sword, very easy to carry.
6. My sister also did my make up, but she said it's just simple foundation and eye liner and then the markings on the cheeks. (Thanks sis :3)
7. And finally my Kaigaku obsession has led me to buying Japanese imported peach.
But what's the use of a Kaigaku cosplay and a peach if there is no Zenitsu to throw it at.
I have yet to find any Zenitsu cosplayer, unfortunately.
I love him so much. My hands were too small to hold the peach the way he did.

Anyway anyone wanna read a Kaigaku fic I made? (Nvm I think it's a Zenitsu fic.) It's almost finished (hopefully) but I got busy with the cosplay
Demon Yoriichi for my Swap Au but I gave up on him half way <\3
I would like to apologise for all the bad things I've said about Kaigaku's hair. Clearly I haven't met Yoriichi. 10/10 would not draw him again
Plot;
Uppermoon one (out of three) Turned Zenitsu into a demon (The other half of Zenitsu's Halo)
Due to a fight with the demon king he is cursed to not be able to use Sun Breathing anymore (Maybe, I haven't figure where this is going) to ensure he won't be strong enough if he rebels.
Uh fire, burn, stuff like that. Tanjirou is the Nezuko in this universe, and they have the same blood demon art, except Tanjirou is in a smaller scale.
When Yoriichi dies he will turn into a bomb, so best not be near him, go to another city if you can.
Also he can't withstand sunlight
Other hair design but looked too much like Michikatsu (They're twins what did I expect)
I haven't continue writing this fic, but I'm planning to post my other fic's here, if I remember it.

Plot;
Zenitsu is Uppermoon 3 (Out of three) He is turned into a demon by Uppermoon one, designed by the Demon King to look like an 'Angel'
The biggest wings are the only one used for flying, the ones on his neck is to protect him from getting decapitated (unable to regrow his head) and the one in his head/ear is to protect his ears, due to his already heightened senses being even more sensitive ever since becoming a demon.
He has terrible eyesight.
In this Au he doesn't learn Thunder breathing, so his blood demon art has nothing to do with lightning.
He can sing really well and those who fell for his songs will fall under his control. The only way to release yourself is if you're far enough or he releases you by showing you the eyes he covered with his wings
This is why he has terrible eyesight btw, it was covered by his wings.
