I think the idea that Zenitsu would ever become a demon is incredibly out of character, I think that if he ever did become one, it would be on accident. Bonus points if it was during battle. I think he would very quickly discard his demon slayer status if he was turned while on the field, as he doesn't consider himself a proper demon slayer and never wanted to be one in the first place. I think despite forgetting why he does what he does (his grandpa) he would have a weird liking towards triangles— he doesn't really know why. He has also forgotten why he was so desperate to get married, and it has manifested as loneliness and desperate need to pursue love interests, he even considers some of his victims possible love interests, and asks if they'd like to join him as a demon, or be killed... it's pretty obvious what they chose.

I don't really have a story for this. I just thought it would be neat if Kaigaku and Zenitsu got along better and maybe that would have been the case if Zenitsu wasn't a slayer but gets turned into a demon too. Idk it was just a random idea djfjgk

Plot;

Zenitsu is Uppermoon 3 (Out of three) He is turned into a demon by Uppermoon one, designed by the Demon King to look like an 'Angel'

The biggest wings are the only one used for flying, the ones on his neck is to protect him from getting decapitated (unable to regrow his head) and the one in his head/ear is to protect his ears, due to his already heightened senses being even more sensitive ever since becoming a demon.

He has terrible eyesight.

In this Au he doesn't learn Thunder breathing, so his blood demon art has nothing to do with lightning.

He can sing really well and those who fell for his songs will fall under his control. The only way to release yourself is if you're far enough or he releases you by showing you the eyes he covered with his wings

Clouds KNY Role Swap AU Part 6

I’m thinking about Nezuko and Zenitsu today.

I know a lot of people don’t like that ship even though it’s canon. I personally think that most of their relationship actually happens outside of what we see in the show; Zenitsu has an amazing character arc and by the end of the show he has a genuine admiration for her instead of an infatuation, and they’re one of my favorite ships. It’s after the show that they grow up and Nezuko starts to fall for him as well.

That’s my view on Zenezu. Moving on.

In Clouds, Zenitsu is this lil demon boy. Nezuko first meets him bc he’s terrorizing some local women along the road (read: he’s trying to find a gf).

He can’t remember how he became a demon.

He’s just a lil guy and survives during the day by taking cover in the woods and in shacks.

So Nezzy tries attacking him and he basically just falls over in fear and she’s like “what” and she realizes he’s got zero defensive skills whatsoever.

And honestly she feels kinda bad for him.

So she decides to keep him. He seems to be calm as long as he’s clinging to a strand of her hair.

I think this is a good time to talk about the view of demons being evil in this AU.

Something that often bothers me in role swap AUs is when the characters are swapped, but they’re OOC. Thus, it’s very important to me to make sure that the characters are still mostly themselves.

Muzan is the head of the Corps, but I think he’s much more liberal than Kagaya. (This is honestly probably just my Catholic background talking).

So Muzan honestly does not care if demons have killed people as long as they are repentant and are committed to not doing it again.

So like if there’s a demon and it’s like “man I LOVE killing people” Muzan is like “fuck him up, kids” or if a demon says he’ll stop killing people but doesn’t, Muzan will be like “yes absolutely kill him.”

But if some demon guy comes to him crying and he’s like “please I’m so tired of being hunted. Please I won’t do it again” Muzan’s like “yeah you’re chill. You can live.”

Kagaya on the other hand, the Demon King, he’s quite kind. He’s slow to anger.

He’s got a quiet sort of fury. Some say it even makes him more terrifying. You never know if he’s pleased or disappointed.

But even if he is angry, you won’t realize it until you’re already dead.
