“I owe myself the biggest apology for putting up with what I didn’t deserve.”

if you neglect a garden, plants will be overgrown, weeds will take over and it will be slowly become a mess. but if you wanted to start anew, you can. the weeds can be dug up, new flowers can be planted. patience and daily care will help it grow into a beautiful garden. it’s the same for yourself. if you want to change your habits and make steps to heal, it’s already a big step. it means you care about yourself, and caring is the first step to making a garden beautiful again.

Being with someone who wants to learn about your past history, not to punish or hurt you, but to learn how you need to be loved
imagine everything in life blossoming for you, suddenly and all at once
A lonely sailboat off the coast of Mexico during the epic sunset. One of my favorite photos I have recently taken.
I almost forgot what it felt like to be held by a man who softened himself for me; a man who unveiled his vulnerabilities, invested himself emotionally into me and confidently left himself open - whilst still making me feel physically protected. His grip reminds me of his overall strength but the softness of his hugs reminds me that my heart is forever safe in his hands.
