filming some interfaith/’peace’ rally today…
this whtie christian guy saw i was wearing my Afghanistan sweater, and came up to me and asked if he could freestyle for me….he did…it was awkward…but it was a nice gesture….i guess? his freestyle had nothing to do with Afghanistan though, lmaooo
few minutes later…he comes back up to me, gives me a hug, and says he wants to give me a bible, it was a nice bible, didnt look cheap…it was really nice of him. i accepted his gift, and then he wanted to say a prayer for me…
damn, he must really like me, im not complaining…i could use all the prayers i can get
but now hes awkwardly touching me…so i figure i need to awkwardly touch him back…im guessing this is what christian folks do when they pray for one another? ionno, its what i’ve seen on tv and documentaries…so i went with it…he asked me to repeat after him
and i was all like uhh..this isnt gonna go good…
and then hes like, “dear heavenly father, lord and savior, forgive me blah blah blah you died for us, yada yada yada”
then he pauses for me to repeat and im like, fuck…this is gonna be awkward, i aint tryinna saying some shirk-y things and go to hell, hahaha
so i just mumble the new coldplay song thats been stuck in my head for the last 2 days, hymn for the weekend, the area was loud so i guess it was enough for him to think i repeated it to move on…and he did it a few more times, and im still awkwardly touching him….and he hugs me again and runs away
i really liked him though…like he took time out to pray for me….some wackass muslims just wanna remind me of my flaws -___- havent met a random muslim that was like “hey man, i wanna make dua for you” i have met some that told me that my jeans are too tight (which they’re not) or that i need to fear god, like randomly….as i walked by them…haha
its moments like these that make me feel better about my decisions for staying in my apartment for days on end….anyway, im on a stallone marathon
